Meh. This week's 4p Saints game was advertised as "America's Game of the Week" Aired only in Louisiana and the Carolinas, while the rest of the country got ARI-DAL. Not really thinking we'll get a lot of national play out of this shift.
-
wonder if AB was aiming for something more along these lines:
-
If the NFL hadn't been greedy by adding an unnecessary 18th week of football, today would be the beginning of the off-season.
-
Minutes???? seems like “months”
-
Um……. Whoops. Maybe that’s not what they were yelling.

Buy that fan in the stands shouting LETS GO PANTHERS loud enough to be heard on the broadcast a beer.
-
THERE ya go. Just a matter of time

He could be fired be-cause. not the same thing

I have a ton of older games that nobody wants to dig into. Have a number of friends who want to have "game night", but then say "bring a game" without having a plan of what they'd actually want to play. Plus they invite 8-10 people, which severely limits the number of games one can play with a group that large.

What would your reaction be if we beat the Saints

The only reason not to fire Rhule is money. Pure and simple.

Only if there was something in the wings waiting to replace 'em. As far as we know, there ain't anybody out there right now that Tepper/Fitt are talking to. Not yet anyway. And until that happens, Tep is going to let Rhule keep running and digging himself into a hole.... or figuring out The Process with two games left. -
guess someone in programming thought we need some better national exposure?
-
does anyone know if there's been a players-only meeting at all this season?

I think we all know what that bear is doing. [insert appropriate Photoshopped image from Midsommar here]

Glad someone else noticed it. Total fail on the graphics department -
More of a russian roulette game, where the goal is to eliminate players by having them get stuck with an exploding kitten in their hands.

Exploding kittens is entertaining

HAPPY FESTIVUS! (Post your non-football grievances!)
PanthersATL replied to PanthersATL's topic in Huddle Lounge
are you getting the "fresh" popcorn, or the "reheated" popcorn that they made the night before? Did they clean those theaters before? -
Today is Festivus, where we compete in feats of strength and participate in the Airing of the Grievances Since the main board is basically a whole bunch of Panthers-related grievances.... what are your non-Football grievances that you want to air out?

pros and cons. I like that the stadium is in uptown, walkable from pretty much the entire hotel district. Like Lambeau or any of the soccer stadiums in London, where it's just part of the neighborhood. I also like the setup in Houston (for example), where all the stadiums tie together into a single stadium zone with plenty of space to do other things throughout the year, like RodeoHouston (which is fantastic). except that everyone has to figure out a way to get to the stadium district somehow, whether by car/bus/train, etc. -

Most parking decks don't allow for tailgating for all sorts of liability reasons. Probaby concerned about potential for grills or other injuries in the enclosed space -

Could be less expensive than the coach/QB contracts he's been handing out lately. -

Sure, if you're not building as a parking deck - if we're using the same math of 1 acre of land = 242 parking spaces. Let's say for a parking deck, 1 acre could handle 150 parking spaces (giving add't clearance for ramps and support. Let's make the parking deck 4 square acres (or 600 spaces per level). That's just your everyday, normal 18 story parking structure. More realistically, it'll probably be 10 acres -- making that 1,500 spaces per level, or a 10 story parking deck. Build some of that below ground vs above ground OR build more than one -- and it's not as terrible as it seems to look at. it might be a pain to drive around in, but it could work given different configurations.
