Yes No recent film on Dalton in a Carolina scheme Players pumped for opportunity to win Defense hungry on turnovers There's hopefully going to be carnage in Vegas. Panthers 35, Raiders 10

maybe... DaveC got a call from Tepper that said, "You have the authority to make decisions. I hired you to fix things, so FIX THINGS. <click>" So it could still be DaveC's decision, and it could still be Tepper giving DaveC permission/latitude to do what needed to be done without explicitly saying the details

Saw the Observer article. Never good to see a duo that has that many successful years together have a sudden breakup like that.

BlueSky just passed 10,000,000 users (which is basically growing from under 1 million to 10 million in a year) No invite codes needed anymore It's grown a lot in terms of being a valid twitter replacement as more news organizations and a wider audience join up

and there's a lot he inherited that he just has to deal with Plus, salary cap situation he was given

he didn't throw a drink on anybody, so that's also a positive move

"Canales decided to make a change" I *hope* this was a Canales decision. I'd ask for proof, but the fact that any decision was made is a positive move in general

Going from the Tepper viewpoint: yes, you thought it was a good purchase/price/buy at the time. At some point you need to cut your losses and re-evaluate/adjust your portfolio A good portfolio manager/money advisor will tell you to sell specific stocks that are under-performing, no matter how emotionally attached you are to the brand. bad example: Just because you prefer to drink Coke over Pepsi doesn't mean you should avoid buying Pepsi stock if that's what the Financial Advisors are telling you to do. Lesson learned: trust the experts who know what they're doing - they may still make mistakes, but the ones they make will be smaller and easier to overcome

not a guarantee, but TV market size suggests the NFL would want it (source: all the previous "market size" conversations previously posted on the Huddle)

I hope Bryce isn't confused by seeing blue jerseys on the other side of the ball

The defense is trying to make plays at least

Just reinforces that Cam would have had a longer career if the refs and the NFL had enforced head shot penalties (let alone better QB calls) when he was playing like they do today

FDA just approved it earlier today There are tons of people who have no issue wearing Airpods, but cringe at being seen wearing a hearing aid. Or similarly, there are people who are unable to utilize a hearing aid with a silicone tip but are able to wear Airpods comfortably. While I don't see this being a new market (meaning, there likely won't be Android users suddenly converting to Apple for this reason alone -- especially as one could predict Samsung doing something similar down the line), it definitely will encourage new Airpod purchases for some older adults already in the Apple ecosystem that might not have happened before https://www.theverge.com/2024/9/12/24242929/apple-airpods-pro-hearing-aids-fda-authorization

Apple watches are unable to sync with Android phones. The watches you see likely have their own SIM and act independently from the android device (and still require initial setup to have a paired iphone) Yes, you can use a variety of Bluetooth headsets with any phone, but there are integrated benefits from using the official ones (like Apples upcoming hearing aid feature that needed FDA approval) that won't be available. Unhappy how Google treated their Fitbit purchase. But that's a different thread
