  1. This would be the "Touchdown Celebrations That Might Be Against NFL Rules" exhibition on ESPN 8 The Ocho. Solo (no props) Solo (with ball as prop) Team (no props) Team (with ball as prop) 10 second max per performance. Scored on a 1-10 scale from a judges panel made up of the at least one sideline reporter from FOX, NBC, and CBS and a few retired HOF players who could offer entertaining insight. Highest and lowest scores are tossed, average out the rest. Yeah, I'd watch it. Maybe on fast forward, but I'd watch it.
  2. @Mr. Scot I said this a while back. Mic up the players, let them have some fun...
  3. 100% in for this. Pro Bowl should be for the Best of each team... and a skills comp allows them to show off and earn true bragging rights, and flag football is just fun. Plus a minimal amount of injury potential compared to a full-pad game
  4. That's fair. Current non-mainstream rock is not for everyone
  5. Winners of last year's Eurovision song contest (previous winners include ABBA, Katrina and the Waves, Celine Dion, and while not a competitor - Riverdance) Maneskin was one of the most talked about performances at Lollapalooza this year, and they were a musical guest on SNL last year too. more recent news: https://people.com/style/vmas-2022-mtv-censors-maneskin-performance-after-wardrobe-malfunction/
  6. Not us. But Apple Music is - they're the new halftime sponsor after Pepsi didn't renew their contract. Rumors are that this helps have the way to (finally) a Taylor Swift halftime production. What does this mean for the future of Apple+ being the NFL Sunday Ticket provider? Well - it kinda levels the playing field between Amazon (who has the Thursday Night package) and Apple in terms of having an NFL relationship. Doesn't guarantee that Apple will get that deal or not, however. Might be some folks wondering if the NFL is looking to partner with all the streamers "equally" in some manner. I doubt Little Nas X is ready for the Big Show yet. Would like to see Måneskin play, and not just because MTV had to continually censor their performance at this year's VMAs. If not Taylor Swift --- then who?
  7. And marketing it to a larger region that covers more than just "charlotte" makes it a significantly large demographic area that the NFL would like to keep. We've covered the specifics and comparisons of market size in previous threads, such as this one:
  8. HURRY HURRY! TICKETS ARE GOING FAST! (source: ticket sales email from the Panthers this afternoon)
  9. it's a fine line in booing the coaching vs still supporting the players who are still giving it their all every play.
  10. Not likely with the Miami ownership situation for suggesting exactly that. https://www.cnn.com/2022/08/02/us/nfl-miami-dolphins-suspend/index.html
  11. Let's say Tepper decides to pull the trigger on Rhule after the Saints game puts us at 0-3 with a 57-10 thrashing. If we look at what's happened with other teams -- doesn't one of the Asst Coaches step up to fill the void until the end of the season? There's no reason/way for Tepper to hire a new HC immediately, right? A combination of inability to recruit from any other team mid-season along with the Rooney Rule, doesn't that severely limit the number of available coaches who could come in immediately?
  12. I want Luke to be "special consultant to the Defense". I get that he doesn't want to coach -- or maybe he just didn't want to coach under THIS regime -- but let's figure out how he can be used to teach the team how to watch tape and prepare each week.
  13. how many times have YOU gotten your balls batted?
  14. Good thing Igo doesn’t want this board shut down by people sharing how to circumvent the NFL copyright on their productiions. That has happened to other discussion boards.
  15. DirecTV does, right now, for anybody trying to watch via Sunday Ticket. thankfully the radio call still works
  16. The only legal ways to watch the game when out of market are through the NFL or Directv. that said, as I write this, Directv is down.
  17. From the press release: More than 150 Prime members who added Thursday Night Football to their Prime Video Watchlist for a specific game were the lucky recipients of an invitation to enjoy the stadium experience of a lifetime. Beginning with the first Thursday Night Football game on September 15, and at every game for the remainder of the season, these lucky Prime members and their guests will receive a curated package of premiere experiences to celebrate Thursday Night Football’s new home on Prime Video. These exclusive experiences for Prime members—from Chicago to Tampa Bay and in 13 other cities where Thursday Night Football games are hosted—will fuel their fandom from pregame to the postgame. In addition to game tickets, guests will receive a personal video from a hometown player ahead of the respective game they will attend. Guests will be provided a hotel room with goodie bags and premium giveaways to prepare for the game. Following transportation to the game, Prime members will meet with special guests including retired players, who will share behind-the-scenes team and player insights for the ultimate insider’s look. Prior to kickoff, guests will get up close and personal to the action as they stand on the field during pregame warmups. At game time, guests will make their way to their seats in the Prime-branded section and enjoy food and beverages throughout the game. At the end of each game, guests will enjoy a personalized game football as a keepsake. Win or lose, guests will then be transported back to the hotel to reminisce about this unforgettable experience.
  18. vegas shouldn't be taking bets on pre-taped reality shows. Live shows, like Dancing with the Stars (new season premiering next week on Disney+ ), are a different story of questionable legitimacy
