Everything posted by PanthersATL

  1. The Tsuro iOS app is decent for a quick hit Finally, somebody who appreciates Rail Baron
  2. Contender for coach of the year? COTY doesn't require winning all the games - it could also apply to success in turning a franchise around
  3. If we're competitive vs Philly in the same manner we were vs Chiefs and TB... that'll show that we really are trending upward and those two games were not flukes
  4. Gronk stressing "his little legs" So disrespectful in a highlight package
  5. (these are typically annually posted, so feel free to cancel before the renewal period comes around again) several streaming deals are ending tomorrow 12/2 99¢/month hulu for a year $2.99/mo hulu/disney+ bundled for a year $2.99/mo hbo max for 6 months $19.99 for a full year of peacock $1.99/mo peacock for 6 months with code REALDEALMONTHLY Also - these are usually the ads-included plans. But still...
  6. Haven't seen bad clock management like that since, uh (checks notes....) Reich? Rhule?
  7. Bluesky's Panthers activity has grown tremendously in the past month compared to a year ago
  8. Dave should have earned his 2nd year without Tepper interference with yesterday's game
  9. We proved we were able to play against a team that usually runs circles around their opponents The outcome may not have been what we wanted (and a handful of plays were the difference, in the big picture), but it wasn't a blowout on anybody's sheet. The team looked GOOD compared to week 1
  10. Selected phrases from https://www.si.com/nfl/panthers/nfl-picks-week-12-panthers-chiefs-predictions Me. I'm that person picking Panthers to win. Every week, every time. (how's that working out? Meh... some weeks are better than others)
  11. …and it’s not Dancing with the Stars (although he’d probably be great on that show)
  12. With the Twitter exodus happening this week due to their TOS changes, there's a growing Panthers community on BlueSky. Sheena Quick, for example, has finally joined
  13. One more observation: Over here, we tend to mock people who wear "wrong" jerseys to a particular game. Think of the random Chiefs jersey spotted at the Panthers training camp, or a Dallas fan showing up to a PIT-BAL game In Europe, the fans of (whatever team) are happy to be surrounded by other NFL fans, and happy to attend any NFL game at all, no matter who's playing. We saw jerseys from pretty much every other team present around town and at the stadium Because they have so few opportunities to cheer their own team live in person, they take every opportunity to celebrate NFL in general, even if it means wearing "the wrong" jersey for an international game. Those fans are excited just to watch football, no matter who is playing
  14. The "country roads" fans wanted to sing to the end of the song, no matter how long it took
  15. In no particular order: If you ever have an opportunity to attend an international series game, do it. Do it. Do it. Euuropeans seem to embrace/love NFL football and can't get enough. They all of their own favorite teams, but will support whichever is playing that week. Overheard a lot of "we like [team name] but this week we cheer for Panthers!!!" They were amazed Americans would spend $$ to go to Europe to watch a game Former Players (from all different teams) were everywhere and mostly accessible. Wandering around in Plazas, bar appearances, Fan Fest.... Smitty was almost as enthusiastic about meeting fans as they were meeting him It definitely felt like a Panthers home game, considering the high level of Panthers banners etc around town, and the number of fans sporting Panthers merch BOA stadium (and others) need more crowd singalongs. Germany loves singalongs at their stadiums Post-game bathroom lines were stupid long. Plan accordingly
  16. Pie for Country Roads singalong
  17. Compared to last year where Bryce was a sack victim every play, he has improved tremendously in terms of getting the ball out/away and other awareness There's room for improvement (last weeks clock penalties were horrible ), but he showed some good awareness on the line vs before
  18. I picked CAR in this week's office football pool, what a great time for that pick
  19. He needs a better off-season routine than "unplug from football, play games, go shopping"
  20. Sometimes the only way forward is to go back
