FYI: Can't see it in my post of course, but there's a link within that article to this article...
The reasons why David Tepper ultimately fired Frank Reich
Very informative article if you haven't seen it...
It is rare for a fish out of water to find the way back, when it's only action is to flop around uselessly until dead.

$56 was the lowest I saw on Ticketmaster. $11 was the lowest on Vividseats, 505 row 17.

There will be some team willing to part with some capital to take their shot. I mean we did bring in Sam and Baker for the same reason. It won't be much though, and probably not too many buyers either.

There are some names coming up on FA at WR and TE.
Nothing notable at LT, except Tyron Smith.
DE is deep, but is mostly a mixed bag. Burns would most likely be top of that list.

I don't think there is much value left on this team, so it's probably good that I'm not in charge. I would fire sale everything I could, since it is all wrong. Just a word of caution though, as there are a few scenarios mentioned where we would bulk out the team with udfa players. This is what Atlanta did the year they played with $50+ million in dead money, lead the league in udfas, and their results have not been great at all.

I'm about to watch a Cowboys-Eagles game with a rabid Dallas fan...
If you don't see me again, I didn't survive
I am sorry.
It rarely happens, but I have to go with the Iggles here.

Except he'd probably look 10 times better if he were the QB of any other team other than the Carolina Panthers.
This fanbase has such terrible football IQ. We're going to be terrible for awhile at least I get to continue to laugh at the people who think they know what they're talking about on this forum. Haha.
Well most fans do have terrible football IQ. They get emotionally invested in the team, and its difficult to sometimes see what's what. It even works both ways, meaning negatively and positively. Really, we just have to look how he has played on our team, it's wild speculation if he'd look 10 times better somewhere else. I'm at that point where it doesn't sound like such a bad idea either.

If Young were on 1 of our rivals, instead of this garbage team, we would all be howling with laughter and mocking him endlessly. Bust Young. if you look at him without the perspective of being a Panthers fan, his play becomes much, much harder to defend.

The SD game stuck out. Nationally, we weren't expected to do much that year, and the Chargers had some hype behind them. So Fox had his favorite scenario in place, being an over-looked and under-estimated road dog. Good game to watch.

I've watched a few minutes of a couple of games, literally, but not a complete contest since preseason. Today, I've got Jags-Browns on, and every so often the Panther score scrolls along the bottom. I'm not missing anything, and I refuse to watch that trash and get worked up about it.

We aren't good enough to be a spoiler, and there aren't really any type of team goals at this point. Players and coaches will go about their jobs with an eye towards the future, meaning their next team.

That's why nothing is going to change until Tepper changes how he operates. Remember, he confidently stated that he reserves the right to veto whatever and whenever, so get used to disappointment. How many 66 year old adults go about making a sea change in their life?

I'd love a Browns Ravens situation where the team moves and the expansion takes over the old teams name and history. Have Tepper move the Panthers to some dump and name them the Swamp Donkeys. Then shortly after we get an expansion Carolina Panthers team and start over completely with new ownership and everything and never look back.
The name and mascot would ideally be changed. Cats never win anything in the NFL, especially black cats.

Oh we are going to have to overpay for sure.
Bring in Jon Gruden. He would be thrilled to have a job again, and in his old division too.
I am not being serious.

And just like that D'Andre Swift gets absolutely baptized and he's down.
What are the Eagles doing? This game is over but you're still 10-2. Wave the white flag and live to fight another day.
It's Philly. They have to grease the lightpoles to keep them from hurting themselves.

Hurts to the locker room

Greg talking up CMC in the Niners-Eagles game as a real MVP candidate, as he is the best non-QB in the game.
And we traded him for some peanuts, lint and odds and ends.
To get Young.

Let's hope Brycey can keep me watching this instead of switching to Niners Eagles
Niners-Eagles here. I refuse to watch Panther rubbish this season.

Panthers have cheapest looking turf of any team in football
you can just see the plastic
We didn't even know what turf was until Tepper came to town. They used to play on grass. fuging grass! Grass and dirt.

Maybe the Saints will cough something up for him? They were supposedly interested in him since he's a legacy player. We need to move on from him.
-
The reality is anyone that isn't in lockstep with Tepper is going to have a difficult road. As he willingly pointed out in his press conference he reserves the right to veto whatever and whenever. Until there is a shift there of some sort, the status quo will continue.

Nah, tear all this garbage down. Floorboards and fixtures. There's not much of value left on this team anyway. Liquidate as much as possible and start fresh.
