Wasn't David Tepper 1 of the minority owners leading the charge to can him? Might have just been rumor, but I recall hearing something about it back then.

It's what we do.

Like the deal we made to get Henderson from the Jags.

This is the David Tepper Panthers, and marks must be made. Besides, we are only a player or 2 away. Max.

I know this is an emotional time coming off a bad loss. But, think about what we could turn that 4th (possibly/hopefully) round pick into this spring. We could land a slow linebacker with little game awareness. Or we could select a raw pass rusher that never produced results in college, but had great metrics at the combine. Just think of the possibilities!

The funny thing is the last year Dalton had a winning record was 2015. We didn't need to get a better qb in here. We have Andy fuging Dalton and his losing record for the past 10 seasons. What could possibly go wrong?

Turn that frown upside down. Lots of football to play. Panthers are 4-4! They could run the table and get on an even bigger win streak than they were on.

Nah, they will raid a practice squad or sign dummies off the street for replacement linemen.
-
I think they will trade him for a wr, since Young doesn't have any weapons.

I see mighty Texas is getting beaten by an SEC perennial irrelevant team in Mississippi State.

Well, I recall how we were the worst 15-1 team ever, and Seattle was certain to make us 1 and done.

I'm pretty sure Anthony Richardson is just real tired of these comparisons.

I don't think Jones gets out of Indy, unless the wheels fall off and the team collapses, which has happened before to them. Also, regarding Jones, Indy felt adamant they had a roster that was good enough to win now, and the results so far speak for themselves. While I do think the Panthers are not catshit terrible, and that Young is holding them back, I would not declare the roster ready-to-win right now. There is a chance that Jones doesn't deliver the same results somewhere else.

I doubt a little that Tepper has stepped anything back. I think instead he has learned the lesson of being more discreet and quiet about his meddling, and "making his mark" nonsense. The soccer team has helped in the sense that it is a happier distraction. The negative press has had a smaller impact.

I'm old enough to remember when there was no chance of any professional league putting a team in Vegas, or signing off on a relocation to Vegas. Too much temptation, too much risk. Oh well, times change I suppose.
