  1. 3 wins last year, 4 wins this year. Lots of talk about how he must just hate Sanders. And it's the Browns. Bad organizations tend to stay bad.
  2. It doesn't matter much. But it does matter. Additionally, it really feels like 1st place schedules mean more prime time games, as well as short week games. We will also have some opportunities for cold weather games. That mock-up looks like it is a very possible 4-win Panther season of miserableness.
  3. The Falcons qb situation is pretty treacherous. I don't know that Penix is IT, even before his latest knee injury, and Cousins will turn 38 just before the season starts.
  4. Jacksonville Jaguars are looking like the AFC South champs and maybe the AFC's top seed depending on other outcomes.
  5. Every season is different, but, if they make the playoffs as the division winner, we will have a 1st place schedule next season as well.
  6. A franchise so awful and unlikeable that residents of the Carolinas chose Redskins and Cowboys as their teams once upon a time, instead of the South's geographic team.
  7. NFL Network just reported Cousins has some sort of illness but is going to try and go today.
  8. Well, we have never ever been any good when we have looked bad in preseason. It has been a reliable predictor of how the team will be heading into the season. That said, many folks will brush it off, invoke Iverson's famous line about practice, and instead say well no team gameplans, and it's all vanilla coverages and har har we are going to the Superbowl.
  9. But he talks funny and likes livermush! Makes as much sense as any other reason. He is not an NFL wr.
  10. Saints have excelled at kicking the can down the road, but that roster is aging out never the less. Even their rookie qb is 26 years old. They may not be the up and coming team some think they are, but that doesn't mean they will not be competitive.
  11. XL on the sideline wondering how much longer until halftime and some orange slices.
  12. We will be fortunate if he just goes 3 and out again. You know he's got a turnover inside just itching to come out.
  13. Starting to feel like the route is going to be on very soon. Maybe they can get a turnover.
  14. 3 and out. Punt. Just start the kneel downs now. Maybe the Falcons will win!
  15. The money invested in the 5th year option is why it is not really a try-out year. 26.5 million for a player that maybe is good enough to be a backup, is an extreme overpayment.
  16. Darnold was a little different scenario. The Jets announced they weren't going to pick up the option, and found an idiot team to be a trade partner with them on the deal. That idiot team not only sent lots of draft cpital, but then decided to pick up Darnold's option year. Really, it worked out as well as it could have for the Jets that our dumbass came along. With Jones, he played for the Giants that 4th year, his last contracted year, and got a playoff win. The Giants were not in a great spot at that moment.
  17. The worst is probably the Daniel Jones outcome. The team pays through the nose for a player they didn't really want and looks like jackasses doing it, and in the Giants case, go back to square 1.
