What's the over/under on how many times Taylor Swift is on camera?
Travis Swift with 3 catches- Taylor Swift with 2 camera shots.
That's a sucker's bet. If it's a blowout, they'll fill time with her. If it's close, it will be tons of reaction shots.

Chiefs looked pretty sharp coming out.

I remember when the Bucs hired Bruce Arians to fix Jameis. They even went so far as to get lasik surgery to fix his vision. Maybe we can get Young some surgeries to help him out too. Of course, Jameis has never been a full-time starter again either so..
-
It's a little bit off to say his 1 job is to fix Young. His 1 job is to win games. If that includes Young improving, then it's great. If it means cutting ties with Young and moving on, then that's great too. To say that is his 1 job, fix Young, well, might as well live out of a suitcase at the hotel like Dan Henning did back in the day, especially with Tepper's infamous trigger finger.

So if his 1 job is to fix Young, as has been posted already, who would you like to see coaching here next season?

They had White who was kinda inefficient as a runner but was 10 short from a 1K season and was good out of the back field in catching. To say they didn’t have a run game isn’t really true.

Well catching passes, by definition, isn't rushing the football. They averaged 88.8 yards/game, which is somehow considerably less than our 104.1 yards/game. But yes, you are correct, since it is a total of more than 0.

I think this is a better hire than Vrabel or Belichik would have been for them. He's a good coach who a lot of players want to abd will play for.
There is some reasoning that Vrabel would want Smith to return as his oc. Even if that wouldn't be happening in Atlanta, the connection might be awkward.
So, in regards to Morris, they had him there as the interim post-Quinn. He wasn't good enough then, but 3 seasons later?
Atlanta is a qb away from being something. Morris helps with that how?
I don't really care either way, I just think it's an odd choice, but that's probably me.

quick turnarounds absolutely do happen in the NFL. This team has to draft better. Significantly better. I would suggest we need a draft year on par to Morgan-Jenkins-Smith. Maybe even a couple of those consecutively.

Dan Morgan will stop Tepper from crossing the LOS. It’s his specialty.
Tepper can always just put on a Falcons 7 jersey and slide on by for whatever he wants.

If he doesn't stay in Tampa, going back home to Texas seems to be the speculative choice. Maybe Houston?

Joebucsfan is calling it a done deal..

Also, they speculate that it means Evans will be departing as well, not necessarily here

Numbers don't tell the whole story. They also had position changes and new faces on OL, a QB we jettisoned mid-season, no running game to speak of, a head coach on the hot seat, and yet they won the division for 3rd straight time, and got a playoff victory. Most folks had them picked to finish last in the NFC South.

It's not as if we have any sayso on the choice. Hope he's better than the last few. Can't be much worse, so there's something positive.
Maybe we bring Wilson back to NC.

The new thing is searching for the next McVay. Which is cool for now, but the pendulum will swing and we'll see a run on the defensive guys like MacDonald, Morris, Graham, and Minter (if what I figure about him comes to fruition.) I think he can bring a lot and the McVay connections are good for staff building. Would he be my #1 pick right now, no. I don't think so. I'd take him over guys like Dan Quinn and Frank Smith though
Yeah. All very true.
There are reasons beyond the win-loss record why they hired a strict authoritarian coach to follow. There are reasons why he hasn't gotten another head coach job, other than a brief interim stint. He has probably had lots of personal growth though.

like 14 years ago..... let it go lmao
I can see if it was in this current decade. People can grow, learn, and evolve. Especially over that span of time.
There is nothing to let go. Of course people can and do change. I wonder what the reason could be that no one has given him another shot at the head job in 14 years. So curious why another team hasn't let it go? Just a run of bad timing probably.

To me, comparing Morris and Vrabel is unfair. Vrabel turned a bad team around and had four consecutive winning seasons, I don’t think Morris did that as a HC (at least that I can remember)
Morris was pretty bad in Tampa in a number of ways. Bad enough they went out and hired Schiano to replace him. I know he might have been too young, or whatever, inexperienced, but he was bad. No thanks. We already suck.

There's been some talk lately that the college game has changed to the point that pro-ready linemen are not being produced as often anymore. There might be some truth to it, especially at the tackle position.

Now you're just being foolish. We didn't even know what bbq was until Tepper brought it here.

Picking up interior OL through free agency would be possible. There are a good many names on the list. LT is pretty scarce, and there are some players listed as RT that have played both, with mixed results.

Steelers as well since the 70s. Might be that postapocalyptic rundown city mojo
Absolutely. It might be more of an organizational thing though, since they've had 3 coaches in the last 50 odd years. We can't even find 1 worth having around for more than a dozen games now.

This Ravens team makes me want John Harb…this team is so physical and tough
To your point, how long now have the Ravens had that identity? 2+ decades? It sure would be nice to be able to develop and maintain a culture and an enduring identity for more than a season or 2 at a time.

Feels like Baltimore needs a turnover here. Might be more of a momentum swing than past greats coming out to the field.
