    When we've thrown the ball on 4th down, it's been short underneath routes with high completion percentages. We were going for a down the field pass with a guy who hasn't been comfortable throwing the ball down the field all day long into coverage. A curl or drag probably works, but not that.

    Exactly! If they called it a fumble, then it's reviewable, if it's a pass it's reviewable, if he's down by contact, it's reviewable, but if it's deemed "FWD progress", it is not reviewable.

    I really would like an explanation of how they were allowed to challenge a play based on FWD progress? Worse yet, they were allowed to WIN the challenge.

    So...FWD progress on a sack was called...and the refs break the rules to give it to the seahawks.

    Ummm...if it was a sack, then it was because fwd progress stopped...so it can't be challenged. If it was anything, it was a fumble though, so again, they're wrong. What the hell is going on?
