NFC Playoffs - Seahawks at Vikings

At least seahawk fans can be proud of the fact that their team has more points than the field has degrees in temperature... -

If it's anything like how Pickles used to be, it's not the play call, he's checking down. Teddy has shown some good downfield throws, I think more than anything is that he just needs to trust himself more. -

DAMN, you called it! I wonder if the Ski-masks they have on under their helmet are also making it hard to hear when added with the crowd noise. -

Seattle has now burned all 3 timeouts with 13 minutes to go in the first half. -

Yes and no, I think Zimmer is trying to prevent rhythm and this is gonna buy a 4 minute break after they just had something positive happen. -

2 timeouts and a botched fake punt, it doesn't look like the Seahawks are prepared for this game thusfar...like...maybe they were overlooking the vikings, as if they might have to really worry about a very good team next week... -

They were alright at first, but they've been so over-killed it's aggravating now. -

It wasn't pretty, but points are points here. Keeping the Seahawks off the field for long periods of time allows them to not get in a rhythm. The other thing is, while the Vikings don't have the points to show for it, they have pounded that Seahawk defense for the entire first quarter. If you're pulling for the Vikings , it was a good first quarter. -

Like we've seen with Riverboat, I think it can go both ways. I'm thinking if between the 40's, and you have 4th and less than 2, they would be more apt to go for it. All of it is for naught though, the punter's face is just menstruating (I think my post earlier in the week regarding Russel Wilson's tendency might have come into play). He'll be able to punt, he'll just be moody. -

I wonder if the Injury to the Seahawks punter might actually help them. My guess is Seattle will be more aggressive in short yardage situations as to not force him to go out there. -

That was a huge fug up by the poo-hawks. -

I wouldn't give up on peterson, it's just one drive. The guy did lead the NFL in carries, so obviously he gets better as the game goes on, and I expect that today. The thing is, throwing lanes are open for Bridgewater, he will have his opportunity to prove that he is more than a game manager today. -
Pulling for the Bengals until......

The entire Cincinatti organization looked like poo because of this game, and actually made me happy to see the steelers win. Vontaze Burfict, the coaches still sending him out there, and the fans throwing poo at an injured player...all of it was just awful. -
This game by hoyer was reminiscent of the game that essentially ended Jakes career. Hoyer just lost any opportunity to ever be taken seriously in the NFL.

Dude, Norman is becoming notorious for getting in receivers head. I say Norman's nickname should be Freddy Kruger, because he lives in opposing receivers heads so much that when they sleep, they just just visions of Josh. -

Could have been even nastier had Philly not dropped 2 passes, could have had only 3 incompletions, that is filthy. -

I think it's just a rookie wall, Jameis is gonna be good on the field as a QB. I've said all along, he's gonna be really good on the field, the question is how long before he has another off the field mishap. As for me, I still stand by saying I'd prefer to have Mariotta than Winston because you never know when his career will end for something idiotic. -

This is the biggest takeaway from the game. The light just came on for this kid, he's fresh, and he's gonna pay off in a huge way in the playoffs, especially when you match his skillset with Ted Ginn, and Stew in the backfield...and Olsen over the middle, we are gonna be hard to stop regardless of who we play. -

It's hard to see Peanut so emotional, you can tell this might be the end of the line for a great NFL corner.
