this is a normal Canales thing, he doesnt swap during drives, he gives RBs drives just like he did with Sanders last year.

honestly, line was biggest flaw on both turnovers, but I dont even fully put it on them, I think theyve flat out given up on bryce. Why go to the mat for the make a wish kid.

Its hard to do that and keep respect of the team because players "see" who won battles, but IMO, if he snaps even one mother fuging ball that doesnt hit bryce in the hands, dude is gone. Of the shitty play from this week, he was the "shittiest" play.

*Positives* -NALO looks the part of a #1 receiver who is hungry. -Line looked OK besides corbett who needs to be benched...immediately -Jaycee is still a beast even without pass rush -Chuba deserves every penny -Kicker made his kicks and didnt fug up kickoff like Jax *Negatives* -Corbett is dogshit. Absolute waste of a roster spot -Bryce....jesus fuging christ...have you ever played decent in the first week of any season ever? -We suck at stopping the run with guys who are known to stop the run...time to start looking at the guy making the calls maybe? -XL...my fuging god, if I call out that egregious BS one more time Im gonna be nauseous. Our QB sucks and you do him no favors by somehow sucking more...cmon. I love this guy so much, wish he wouldnt suck. -Dowdle didnt look great, IMO, etienne looked better. By week 3 or 4 this team will finally be good enough to play against teams in week 1 of the season.

I mean, I will say, Andy Dalton looked good in week 3 last year in a similar situation which sadly, realistically is and would be when teams would click if they didnt really put the work in preseason. I dont think they need to play 100% of the snaps preseason, but they clearly do not look like team that is mentally or physically prepared for NFL football in week 1. I do put a TON of onus on Bryce, I think if he were the strong leader, hed push Canales to go back out after that pitiful week 2 preseason, but its NOT all on him. XL not getting 2 feet in is an egregious disgusting mistake and it COMES from lack of preparation. Quite honestly, skill wise, it looked like Chuba and Nalo put the time in also looked like the Line aside from Corbett did fine, but Dowdle...looked like eh...and the rest of the skill guys looked very rough. Renfrow ran decent routes I guess. All Im saying is IF you are going to play your starters late in the 4th quarter of a meaningless WEEK 1 of the NFL season blowout, when those SAME STARTERS could get injured and lose time the rest of the season EXACTLY like a preseason game just to get them reps, then it makes not only no, but mind numbing amounts of negative sense to say "we wont play them in the preseason cuzz they could get hurt"

Except, ya know the teams that use those strategy's? Teams that havent been fighting for the first overall pick EVERY fuging YEAR. If Im the KC Chiefs, the eagles, the bills, your right, but not only havent we BEEN to the playoffs since 2017, we havent even LOOKED competitive since then besides a brief stint with Wilks who...coincidentally DID NOT coddle the players. (Im not mad at you, just fuging frustrated and venting, I know you're a good dude)

I want to say end it, but why? we are trash now with him or with anyone. just ride it out, let him flame out his career and end as an all time bust.
