Can Bryce Young lead Panthers to a deep playoff run?
Eric4280 replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yep. No reason to limit any potential. We almost had a little run with Sam Darnold, Matt Rhule/ Steve Wilks, Pj Walker. -
Same stuff, different year. Media darlings get the ratings, underrated dudes get 72s. Luvu is probably like 75 or some dumb crap like that.
-
It’s coming. The teams full of breakouts with a real qb and dream team coaching staff compared to a used car salesman and his friends.

Someone that doesn’t accountability is so lame lmao. Won’t comment on that family stuff because idk what to believe from that moron.

Bryce Young called a “mental savant”

Yeah this was like 10 percent bryce, 85 stroud , 5 Richardson , If we’re being absolutely honest. -
Bryce Young called a “mental savant”

Me and Ivory Panther been Bryce guys for forever. No laughter here. -
Exactly exactly. He’s always been at size disadvantage. And the rules in the NFL are much stricter than NCAAF. Brains always win.
-
I’ve argued this for the 3 months leading up to it. What changes in the nfl vs ncaaf? Strength and conditioning? He’ll also get stronger (case in point). He’s battled with 300 lb guys. Hasn’t died yet. Cam had his career taken away too soon and he was as big as you’d want a qb. Is it IDEAL for Bryce to be this size? Probably not. But making it such a huge deal has been so lazily overblown.

Viking article predicting big drop off for Thielen
Eric4280 replied to panthers55's topic in Carolina Panthers
Ideally, the field will see Marshall, Mingo, Chark a lot of the time (in my hopes). With Theilen playing the super Cotchery role. Drop off in numbers sure. But i hope that article isn’t talking about the qb play because let’s not pretend Kirk Cousins is a head and above player potentially over Bryce. -
Because people are lazy and have predetermined thoughts that they stubbornly won’t let go of.

A lot of people around here seem to not want to be excited about this team. It’s kinda sad.

“But his frame blah blah”

Will the Panthers or won't they contend for a playoff spot
Eric4280 replied to panthers55's topic in Carolina Panthers
Another thread of placing predictions, another slew of probable .500 outcomes. We did that last year with Darnold/Pj Walker. We only got better at everything while the Falcons and Saints still have terrible coaching (Smith is OK I guess). Saints added Derek Carr who’s only proven that he’s gonna be forever mid. Bijan (as fun and cool as he is) doesn’t change the w/l for ATL. Everyone is infatuated with their top heavy, expensive offense, with a terrible driver in Ridder. I know it’s not conventional and I won’t flat out say “we’re going to the Super Bowl” but honestly ask yourselves, how many of you guys saw the Bengals en route to their Super Bowl run when they had like 2 or 3 wins the season before. We may have magic in our pocket. Let’s not limit the ceiling as fans. -
Are you buying into the media's narrative that we are third tier

I’m with you brother. -

I’m expecting vast improvements from last year. Improvements from a team that was one game and injury(Horn) away from beating Tom Brady and making the playoffs. With a slew of characters named Matt Rhule, Sam Darnold, Baker Mayfield, and even Steve Wilks. Our only significant loss is Dj Moore and we’ve replaced him with Adam Theilen, Dj Chark, Jonathan Mingo, and even Hayden Hurst. There’s no way things don’t solidify. We have the top Qb prospect in college, a dream team of coaches, and depth at so many spots. We’re afraid of Derek Carr and Dennis Allen? We’re afraid of a running back? I’m sorry but I just won’t go into this season with contempt, I’m too excited in everything else that’s happened, if it’s not the smartest way to be. Keep Pounding. -
The new format makes news finding impossible. I miss the little center box with the top sports news.
-
Absolutely hate it. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.
-
This whole wr core is an unlocked treasure chest. Minus Theilen who I find to be essential in guiding them on field. It’ll be poorly rated, no one will care right now. But the untapped potential is severe.

Exclusive first look at Panthers updated jerseys
Eric4280 replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Jerseys are on sale now too- thought it was ours only - just to get rid of the old blues. But I think it’s every team. Still don’t know if the ones online are old or new, though -
I don’t really wanna ruin what we have nor do I think it’s really necessary but I feel like having Cam in the room as a mentor to these guys would be really cool. It’s absolutely Bryce show and don’t wanna take away from that at all. But man that sideline juice of sneaky Corral and the face of our franchise maybe ever, backing what I think is one of the faces of the nfl would be just feel awesome.

I’m just gonna say he is. No arguing. These mids and has been mids don’t nearly compare to our guy.

Yeah no this is an open chat forum. Messages are public. Like I said, that junky joke also got no reaction in the other thread.

I don’t understand what the point of easing someone in, when they’re mentally ready. Bryce has overcome his lesser physical stature and made up for it and gotten ahead because of his cerebral capabilities. What are we waiting for? We moved future assets and players for this dude. Being on the sideline is going to help him learn a playbook or develop chemistry, playing will. A player like Ant Rich has a valid question in this regard but not someone with Bryce capacity.
