  1. Take em for a fifth and flip that fifth for Gardner! And then still draft as if you need a QB. Be in a much better place.
  2. Playing for Lamar is a lot different than most QB. Defenses couldn’t open their tool boxes to rush Lamar. Hence making it easier to block for em. Id also keep moton.
  3. I wish I knew. As soon as it happened I knew we’d be picking 8-12 th.
  4. Man, that package is garbage. 4 picks , cmc, Anderson, the bowl of oatmeal and potentially burns? Pass.
  5. It’s pretty amazing that the defense alone wasn’t ranked 32nd for losing Kuechly and Bradberry, changing HC and DC, drafting 7 new defensive players, having no training camp or preseason, and going up against Brady, Ryan, and Brees 6 times. I’m impressed at where we are in the rebuild. And you’re absolutely right. Just take whatever lumps we need to take this year, heck we still have a quite solid cap number considering like half the league is in the red. Come back next year with less dead cap and poorly contracted players off books.
  6. I think if we go BPA aside from Lance , I could see it shaping up- 1- Lance . 2- OT. 3- G/C or CB. 4- DE or TE. Drafts super rich in the things we need & we’ve this newly fixed cap , so I’m pretty optimistic.
  7. The longer this goes on, the worse the package for Watson gets. I just don’t see teams throwing down entire futures. What good would Watson be if we had an even more gutted defensive side of the ball AND no picks?
  8. This is the draft to do it too. Leatherwood, Eichenberg(not super high on em), Radunz could probably be had round two. Then even deeper, I’m really interested in Walker little in a later round. Dudes got caliber. I’d just hope he works out because we can’t get screwed by OT named Little, twice.
  9. That’s certainly a lot better than most teams... feeling pretty optimistic.
  10. This means they at least have to be INTRIGUED by the prospects of trading for Teddy. It makes the most sense.
  11. I’ve really wanted lance and have had zero interest in fields since we got the 8th. Was so happy to see him play this well against Clemson so someone in the top 4 would take em.
  12. Don’t overthink, just hope it’s right.
  13. I do not want black or white Teddy Bridgewater. From oatmeal to white oatmeal. THIS move does literally nothing.
  14. Exactly . His numbers were never “bad” and he’s never had this much talent around him. I assume if we did bring him in, we’d want him to be here, which jax clearly did not. I want a qb that’s gonna either win or lose games for ya. Teddy did a whole lot of losing them for us, without offering that firecracker upside. I think if we took him and an OL or Pitts at 8... oof.
  15. He’s the anti teddy.. obviously he’s not perfect but he’s at least exciting. Id say an upgrade over the bowl of low sugar oatmeal with two gloves on.
  16. If we do happen to get him, who would you guys want at our spot? Slater, Pitts, Parsons?
  17. I was listening to the PFF podcast last night and they brought up a very good point about Detroit.. they may end up in the Howell/Rattler sweepstakes regardless of their Qb. I could definitely see them bypassing the 4th best qb in this class and going with someone like waddle or parsons, who are better (now) at their positions.
  18. That’s pretty disappointing honestly.
  19. The team isn’t rich in exposable young talent, nor do we have a young qb that could be a good dart throw (like darnold or tua). I just think it’s gonna way too expensive to bring him in. I get it that hes 25 and in his prime, id rather roll the dice with what we get in this draft or get stafford for much cheaper. Or get Minshew like I’ve been saying and see what party boy can do!
