This. To ME, Hubbard is cut worthy and we could draft someone in the 6th round that’s better. He has terrible hands in terms of ball security AND receiving. It’s not like he’s got game breaking speed. He was opportune, as many other backs in this system were. Much rather have Sanders/ Kendre Miller.

Evero has proved this past year that you don’t need a pure mammoth at NT for a successful 3-4. Tuttle plays the run really well and has the physicals and build to be the anchor. Love the size on the DE we have as well.

I hope when people want to address this through the draft, they realize we need multiple quality pieces. Downs/Rice/Hyatt/Dell/Tillman/ Perry/ Wilson/ Mims/ Hutchinson/ Boutte* (very excited about his prospects especially with a likely fall because of testing)/ Reed. We need two of those guys listed. The top 3/4 are probably gone by our second so we absolutely need to hit on these Wr. Otherwise we’re looking at Lamar level Wr talent.

RB and TE are deep in FA and the draft. Wr is sort of thin on both ends (moreso FA thin-ness). I personally think we need two Wr from this class and take a TE later or sign one on the cheap.

I have zero idea what the Bengals are doing. Losing Bates, I get it, that price tag is crazy. Bell in multiple ways was better and more important to that defense and they have cap! Mind boggling lmao.

With our first second round pick, take Gibbs, with the extra second round pick, take Rice. Third round take Tillman or maybe someone like Michael Wilson. Fourth round , grab whatever is available of Laporta or Kuntz. I KNOW THERES A .2 PERCENT CHANCE THIS HAPPENS, LET ME DREAM! Lol. So yeah it’d be - qb (not gonna pick one because its too political), bijan from the trade to 12, Rice or Hyatt at 39, Laporta or Kuntz 4th. Or play trade musical chairs and end up with a whole new offense- qb, flowers, Gibbs, rice/Tillman/Wilson , then Laporta or Kuntz.

This class is really deep at TE. We are behind the 8 ball with valuable picks. If we’re moving, I prefer it’s down.
