  1. If love is wrong , I don’t wanna be right.
  2. You’re a pro Stroud. You don’t “hate to say it” and that’s fine. We’ll have pro strouds and pro youngs - as long as we all meet in the middle as panthers fans
  3. Yeah absolutely don’t see us taking levis. Can’t at that point. Would’ve been able to move to 5 to ensure him there.
  4. I’m calling it like I see it, lol. I didn’t go into a Stroud thread and look for that dude with the Sam Mills avatar to wait for the millisecond I commented to respond. Just stating the facts.
  5. I absolutely won’t . Didn’t even plan on watching or paying attention to pro days. They’re dumb. We’ve seen what each player is capable of. I don’t need dumb throws to open receivers to sway my mind. But then again I knew once I opened a Young thread, it’d be the usual anti Young crap. Meanwhile I’ve made my peace on not crapping on Stroud.
  6. Where did I crap on Stroud? Find one comment in any of the 49 Stroud threads created in the last 24 hours. Did I say he was throwing a bunch of lazy wobbly passes? No. I just know I’m not about to make 37291 threads about a player because….. he has a pro day. Show me ANY negatively reviewed pro day regarding a prospect. Meanwhile the Stroud crowd absolutely won’t give Young a chance no matter how many times people say “I wouldn’t be mad if we took him”.
  7. So let’s just get this out there: Stroud literally just throws to open receivers running around in shorts again and the coaches and brass have positive banter= “OMG HES FIRST PICK HES SO PERFECT HES BURROW” There’s a SINGULAR Bryce thread regarding dinner and it’s all the pro Strouds crapping on Bryce or throwing a quip. I’ve firmly seen that the pro Bryce crowd is much more accepting of Stroud than the Stroud crowd is of Bryce. Comical.
  8. Agreed. He probably enters the league and looks like Jefferson/Chase.
  9. Yeah well we had a pick in the corresponding draft. We’re not moving anywhere near the spot to take him unless we sell even more of the future.
  10. Declining the 2 firsts and 1 second from LAR should’ve been the sign to CHI that Burns isn’t available.
  11. I’d hope so! He’s only like 34 years old.
  12. Agreed. The fact that he’s not really a big burner, kinda makes me say no thanks. Would rather have Hyatt runnin posts all game to open up the middle.
  13. Not mad at this move at all. But I do see what you see, we need someone to stretch the field. Hope that comes too.
  14. He’s 194 and was 204 at the combine. I REALLY don’t think it’s out of the realm of possibility that NFL trainers and teams don’t think it’s wise to tack on extra muscle to support the nfl. Obviously he’ll never be 230 etc but I’d feel fine with him at 210 ish. Now with the Tua thing and being “swung around like a ragdoll” once again has to do with his pocket awareness and him genuinely not knowing how to fall. It’s evident. He’s actually more compact than most qb his size, which would make it harder to ragdoll. He’s the same or heavier than the following qb: Joe Burrow, Derek Carr (listed 2 lb heavier), Desmond Ridder, Mac Jones, Russell Wilson, Baker Mayfield, Kenny Pickett ( 4 lb heavier ), malik Willis, 4 lb lighter than Lawrence, but 4 inches shorter. The list would’ve been a lot shorter naming the heavier QB. Obviously his height is on the lower end. But there is no connection to short qb being thrown around easier.
  15. I don’t doubt Strouds ball distribution ability. I just sincerely highly doubt that we’d be able to put Chase/Higgins/Boyd level wr help next to him. Especially not having a first next year. I personally feel like having teams scraps and leftovers like Theilen and Chark are fine to feature next to a pure 1A. I think we genuinely struggle to find a safety valve or alpha for Stroud in years 1 and 2 of his rookie deal.
  16. I know this probably falls on deaf ears and it doesn’t exactly correlate for obvious reasons. I’m a Sacramento Kings fan, have been since I was in middle school. The draft with Curry, I remember being curious about him because of his game but weary how he’d handle the physicality of the NBA (and I know they’re not the same in terms of importance). But read this scouting report about Curry and tell me it doesn’t eerily sound like Young’s outlook- But Curry's physical limitations probably mean he is going to end up as more of a point/combo guard than a pure two. He doesn't have the size, the strength, or the lateral quickness/athleticism to defend shooting guards in the league (he does, however, have a knack for disrupting the passing lanes as he averaged almost three thefts per). He is also going to run into some issues at the point as well. His first step leaves much to be desired, and it more than likely will mean that Curry will have problems beating NBA points off the dribble. Now I know they’re not exactly the same, obviously, but I just hope it does provide a little more solace on the size concerns.
  17. What is the difference between him and Dak in terms of talent and traits? Solid playmakers, underrated mobility, good deep balls, not a ton of throws they can’t make. But just don’t SEEM to have that “it” factor. Just a safe, reliable, above average option.
  18. A.men. And there’s nothing wrong with a Dak level QB. THIS team needs excitement and a franchise face. Bryce has that.
  19. This is lazy assumption with Tua. His size is because he doesn’t know how to fall/slams his head into the ground constantly. That’s a pocket awareness thing. Being a 15-20 pounds heavier than he is now doesn’t stop those concussions. He’s actually taking judo to learn how to fall.
  20. I personally really, really want Young but this last week taught us. There’s no convincing anyone on either side, just hope we meet in the middle when the choice is made, regardless of who it is.
  21. Do we genuinely need a thread for every talking head that has a “hunch “ on one person or another. It leads to the same discourse over and over again.
