  1. I just hope his shoulder is 100%. While he may be immature, the browns absolutely threw him under the bus and I honestly think they were trying to get him hurt the last few games of the season. It will probably do him good to get him away from that dysfunctional franchise (to a slightly lesser dysfunctional franchise in us)
  2. About as accurate of a statement you will see on this forum. I think we are pretty strong starter wise at most positions, but we have very little depth outside of CB and maybe QB to survive an injury to a key starter. Let's start sacrificing some live chickens Pedro serrano style that our guys can stay healthy
  3. I think his loss will hurt us most on the PK. Him and stall did a great job on the kill as the forwards on the ice
  4. While Tony's defense is definitely weak, I'm not sure it was much worse than Dougie's (if at all worse) Both of them are what they are - offensive defensemen that are liabilities on defense. That being said, I want Tony back if the contract is reasonable. His passing is great and he does a good job carrying/controlling the puck on offense and the PP. Keep him paired with either slavin or pesce and have them prioritize defense when on the ice with Tony
  5. Pretty impressive win by the Lightning considering the refs refused to call any penalties on the rags, including several obvious interferences. That missed one on Trouba crushing Perry with the puck nowhere near him might be one of the worst missed calls in the playoffs. Hopefully the ratings are awful for the stanley cup finals and the series ends in a sweep. It's pretty pathetic how scripted the NHL is in wanting their teams to make it to the stanley cup.
  6. I hear you about Robbie, but I would take him over the rejects we had at WR in the Superbowl. Sadly, I think Jericho cotchery at 70 years old was out most reliable receiver. Now, if you would say you would rather have zylstra, I'd be ok with that.
  7. Oher did great with pass blocking that season, and that's with Mike Shula calling dive, dive/QB sneak, four verts on first, second, and third down 80 percent of the game. His run blocking was pretty poor, but I'll take a tackle who can't run block over a tackle who can't pass block/block anything (see Remmers, Mike)
  8. I honestly think he deserved MVP despite losing. If retard Mike Shula decided to not have remmers block von Miller 1-on-1 the entire game, we may have won...
  9. I can't remember what other bad cb we had playing because peanut was hurt. Was it bum ass Robert McClain that kept getting torched by Sanders? CMC, moton, Moore, Robbie, Chinn (for Harper) and literally any current CB for McClain (take your pick of horn or DJ) would be my changes.
  10. Definitely not with the random game of his life kony early had against denver. I think he may have gotten more sacks in that game than the rest of his career...
  11. I wish they showed that level of anger during the game... They looked like they didn't give a flying f*** out there
  12. As disappointing as Domi has been, him and raanta won us game 7 against Boston
  13. Lol, yep. I think he is good, but throwing a rookie into net in the playoffs when he played like four games in the regular season is never a wise move
  14. Telling your team "hey boys, we are going to throw this game away so we can rest Raanta" wouldn't go to well in the locker room. Pyotr shouldn't be playing at all unless something like tonight happened with raanta getting hurt
  15. Agreed. I think our whole team just waits for TDA to do something magical instead of moving around and actually doing something
  16. Easier said than done. I still don't think he is anywhere close to being 100% ready. I guess the question is do we think 60% healthy Freddie would have been better... Raanta really didn't play that bad tonight. No chance on the 2nd goal and the first goal was tough because of the screen. I would have liked it if he peeked out to his left instead of right before Fox shot it, but that's a tough save regardless. Again, this team has shown that when they don't score the first goal, they completely abandon their game plan and just turn to poo. Just zero mental toughness and discipline
  17. Our #1 goal needs to be getting PP specialists in the off-season. That way we won't have bums like Necas and kotkaniemi on our PP turning it over and refusing to take open shots
  18. Ok, keep telling yourself Tampa isn't good as they win another Stanley cup...
  19. Yep, which is even more impressive considering that they have already won two Stanley cups and are sacrificing their bodies and blocking shots like they haven't won a Stanley cup in 50 years. That's a champion's mentality and our team does not have that. We have the complete opposite of that
  20. I think even with the refs in their pockets, Tampa will still have no problem beating the rangers. Unless.... Trouba cheap shots and injuries Vas and Kucherov, which I wouldn't put it past him
  21. I think they are also. I think they have the ability to frustrate either Edmonton or Colorado with their defense/tending and they will have no problem with the rangers. Honestly, I can live with Tampa winning it. It will be a boring Stanley cup champion and hopefully people won't watch the scf because of that. Anything that hurts ratings and the pockets of the NHL is perfect
  22. We should, but we won't. Again, we have nobody on our team that has the balls to do that
  23. Watch the clinic Tampa put on Florida on defense in their series. The commitment all of their players had to blocking shots was amazing. Our players have not shown anything close to that and instead decide to leave kreider wide open in front of the net on a PP...
