This is pretty much what I have been stating when people say Evero is the reason our defense sucks... These same people don't realize that literally nobody on our D can win a pass rush battle and by rushing 6+, odds are any of the other team's RBs, TEs, or WRs not covered by JC will be wide open in like 2 seconds. There really is no winning with playcalling with the lack of talent on defense. Just have to hope we get stops every now and then and our offense can score 35+

Pretty accurate - and crazy thing is that last year's D really on lost 2 players that weren't injured in burns and Luvu

I'm assuming more FA money spent on D next year + a top 3 pick on the best DE/Travis Hunter I think it's much easier to build a defense than an offense. I will say - we should probably scrap the 3-4 though. This roster isn't built for it

This right here is what I've been saying the last couple of weeks... People have been saying "if we blitz every down we will be a great defense" pretending like our safeties/LBs can cover anyone... If we fire Evero, whatever... But blaming him for this poo defense is bonkers

XL does a good job of attacking the ball with his hands on throws. Definitely not passive and trying to body catch
