Who is going to take a shot at Malik Willis
PleaseCutStewart replied to DaveThePanther2008's topic in Carolina Panthers
My guess: Jets, Dolphins, Browns, Steelers will be very interested in Willis. Falcons (if they think Penix isn't the answer) and Vikings (if they think JJ isn't the answer) could possibly be interested. -
Not sure I want to pay a king's ransom for him. Back to back years now where he has missed games because of injury (yes, I know it is debatable that the Raiders intentionally benched him to tank this season). Would I love to have him, sure. Is 1 very good pass rusher gonna make us a Superb Owl contender, no.

For free agent QBs, I think you have to look at a cheap vet. Mariota would be ideal, but I could see him being pretty costly. Tyrod Taylor is somebody I wouldn't mind. Trubisky and Zach Wilson are also worth a look.
-
Players to look at: Cheap (1 year): Demario Davis, Onyemata Medium: Jaylinn Hawkins, Khalil Mack Wishful thinking (Expensive): Boye Mafe, Linderbaum, Jaelan Phillips (probably will be tagged by the Eagles) Haven't looked at everyone who is available yet though

From what I have seen on several websites, he will either be very close or surpass Kendrick Lamar's viewers from last year -

Not only that, Remmers had to go up against prime Von Miller, arguably one of the best pass rushers the NFL has seen. Campbell just got abused by literally anybody with a name on their jersey for Seattle Sad thing is the LG was also very bad, just not Campbell bad. It also didn't help that Maye didn't get designed rollout playcalls and took way too long to throw the ball at times. -

Not sure I would rely on AI for accurate results... And I think the only way to have watched the Turning Point one was on Youtube, whereas most people that watched Bad Bunny watched it live on NBC/Peacock. I won't even get into how terrible of a metric views are when I can watch a video for 5 seconds on Youtube and it counts as a view. Plus the many bots people can have to inflate views. -

Not sure I have ever seen a lineman look so weak as a Campell looked yesterday. Dude got bullrushed and pushed backwards 5+ yards on like half of the pass plays. -
He is definitely a receiver that will be out of the NFL within a few years and will probably be broke shortly after that

I get what you are saying, but let's also keep in mind teams pretty much had their backups in after halftime the last month and change of the season against the Jets. After their win against the Falcons (lol Failcons), they lost by: 24, 28, 23, 32, and 27. Much easier to rack up garbage time yards against backups. But yeah, our offense was ass this season outside of like maybe 4 games + the playoff game.
-
Yikes, I wonder if he was the only person that said yes to the OC job for the Jets
-
When have we not looked like ass in the preseason... Easily going on a decade of looking completely lost in the preseason
-
Have the games in Europe been confirmed yet? Happy to see we have 9 home games, but I figure we will get screwed over and have 1 of them be in another country...
-
That tells you everything you need to know when the Pro Bowl is happening on a random Tuesday in god knows what city. Until the day they hold something like the 4 Nations or WBC like hockey and baseball do, it's a meaningless event that honestly no NFL player gives 2 shits about

It's crazy how good Staal still is at his age

Interesting. Curious how far back those stats date? I feel like medical advances have helped overcome bad injuries a lot better the past 20 years. Honestly feel awful for icky and hope he comes back better than before. Maybe we can resign him to a 1-2 year deal and if LT is too much for the knee, move him inside
-
This... I have a lot of problems with Rod, but I think this is probably the best coaching job he has done yet with the amount of injuries to key players we have had to overcome so far.
-
Because Kooch got hurt
-
Relax. Still in first in the division and still don't think we have played our best hockey yet this year
-
Smart choice. Tabletop game would have been way better than watching this

Man even though I don't blame Freddie, I swear he leaves the worst rebounds on saves he doesn't glove
