  1. Don't mind the deal. At times last year, I thought he looked good. Other games, he was a disaster. Pretty much what all of our LBs were last year. I thought he actually looked good as a pass rusher when we played the Rams in the playoffs. Was arguably one of our best players to get pressure in that playoff game
  2. While I usually agree and the Raiders are about as dysfunctional of a franchise as you will find, it has to be concerning that 1) they immediately sign Hendrickson after he said yesterday that he will make his final decision tomorrow (today), which the Ravens knew would be at a cheaper price 2) there are reports from like 10 unnamed people with other team's front offices that said this is the Ravens having buyers remorse. It's not like the knee issues with Crosby were unknown either. You would think a team like the Ravens would have done their homework before trading for him
  3. I'm honestly curious how this will impact free agents with past injuries wanting to go there. They have done it several times in the past prior to Crosby and if I am a player looking for a big pay day, I would outright refuse to visit the Ravens and have a no trade clause for the Ravens to protect my value. Gotta imagine this not only hurts what the Raiders would get in a trade, but also significantly lowers the amount of money Crosby will receive for his next contract. All around dick move by Baltimore and while technically not illegal by NFL rules, it is about as bad as a thing a front office can do.
  4. Wonder if this impacts Raven's trades with other teams the next few years. I doubt teams will completely ice them out, but they could require the Ravens pay a bit extra for this bush league poo
  5. I think once they realized that they could get Hendrickson for under 30 mill, they got buyer's remorse. Definitely doesn't look good for the Ravens
  6. Hopefully this is a vet minimum or a contract with very little guaranteed. This dude is at best the worst offensive lineman that will make our roster and more likely a training camp body
  7. Got to imagine that we still draft a center in the mid rounds. A one-year deal tells me this dude is only a rental
  8. As much as I hate cam jordan, the one thing I appreciate about him was that he always said prime Cam Newton was the hardest QB they had to go against. But no, I would much rather have somebody like Von Miller if we want an experienced pass rusher
  9. Even if we don't cut him, 2024 is still in the conversation and probably at the top
  10. Don't hate it. Thought he did well on special teams also and can be an emergency sub LB if need be
  11. I think we are all doing a lot of assuming that 1) BC will be ready to go week 1, and 2) He will be as good as he was pre Achilles rupture. We are all not sure that Ickey will ever be back to his old self (rightfully so), but just assume that BC will come back all fine and dandy when he suffered just as gruesome of an injury
  12. Not sure about his zone blocking scheme fit, but Slaughter, Lew, Hecht, Logan Jones, and possibly others are good agile zone-scheme fit olinemen that have the potential to start day 1 for us
  13. And also curious how much the "cheap" seats will increase percentage wise. I feel like when they had the 6% increase last year, it was only like 1% or something for the upper level
  14. Him and Evans are good special teamers. I like these 2 resignings
  15. Not sure if it's related to the playoff game or just the rampant inflation that is occurring in our country. Curious how much the prices for other teams changed.
  16. Yeah Thieneman has grown on me - definitely the ball hawking safety we need. McCoy can be really good as our nickel (if his medicals check out). Size will probably prevent him from ever playing on the outside, but he has great ball skills, can press pretty well, and moves very quickly and fluidly in zone. Freeling and Fano are probably my preferred LTs if we can grab them. Mauigoa's pass blocking has me a bit concerned for being our LT. Lemon would be a great RAC guy for us that seems to know how to read zones (works well for out quick pass offense). Would have said 100% no to WR prior to day 1 of free agency because of all the needs we had on D, but now we can if he is the best player available at 19. Allen I would prefer to trade down for, but I can see teams in the 20s valuing him, so I'm not sure he would make it much longer after our pick. The dude will be an immediate 3 down LB for us week 1
  17. Honestly, I would rather overpay day 1 of free agency for a high end player (Phillips) than lose out on them and then overpay for a mid-level player. Seems like we learned from missing out on Milton Williams last year
  18. Ummmmm, no. Plenty of centers will be around in rounds 3 and 4. Unless one of the stud LB or edges drop (or Downs), it is hopefully one of the following: OT (Mauigoa, Freeling, Fano) DB/S (McCoy, Thieneman) WR (Lemon) LB (Allen)
  19. Luckily they are 3 or 4 good zone blocking centers in this draft, so I think we can potentially find a starter in the third or fourth round.
  20. Looks like we can pretty much go BPA in the 1st round now (if there isn't an OT we love at 19)
  21. Damn, almost seems like we're going all in with how much we are spending in free agency
  22. Nice, somebody tell him to pull an Eli and refuse to play for any other team but us
  23. How many more years do we have to give Dalton to be a "mentor"...
