The crazy thing is some of these plays that went down to like 2 on the play clock were basic inside zone runs. That poo shouldn't take 30+ seconds to decide when you are down 24... It's not like they had to hot route multiple receivers and change blocking assignments after lining up. It's almost like Canales has somebody else's playbook and needs to flip through 10 pages to try and figure out what play he is going to run

Yeah, Arizona isn't scared of Bryce, so they are probably expecting a run (or dump off to the RB/TE) on 1st down. And I don't think a run play on 1st would really surprise defenses there. It just seems like we don't know what we want to do on offense - 1 second it's lets run out the clock; next second it's lets throw for a 1st. Everything on offense seems out of sync, from playcalling to blocking assignments to Bryce

My biggest problem with that mentality is we were down 10... Why the hell would we be running it on 1st down when we desperately needed points and momentum. Running it for a short gain on 1st made it much easier to decide what defense to run on 2nd and 3rd and long for Arizona.

As bad as that was, we were still running the play clock down to 5 or less the entire 2nd half despite being down 24 after the Cards last TD. I still don't know who is more at fault for this - Bryce or Canales. There were definitely a few times where it looked like we were lined up at about 20 seconds and Bryce is I think making line adjustments until less than 5 on the play clock. Other times, the team didn't even get lined up until less than 10 seconds on the play clock. I really think we have the worst marriage between a coach and QB in the NFL - a QB who is bad + a coach that looks clueless.

He would probably be on pace for well over 1,000 yards if Bryce actually knew how to throw an accurate pass on the wheel route... He easily lost close to a hundred yards last week because Bryce ignored him on one wheel route and then threw the other one so poorly that renfrow had no chance of catching it inbounds

It honestly looks like we have like two plays we call on defense and that's it... Why we keep running the same zone play that is getting beat in the middle like a drum is baffling. That being said, when Evero actually called a smart blitz, we got to watch our terrible linebacker just run right by Kyler and let him run the ball for 30 yards...

The simple answer - yeah, he is that bad

Seeing how this team has prepared not a damn bit the first two weeks, I assume they will not prepare yet again this week

I don't think I've ever seen a coach trust a QB as little as canales does.... I get it that Bryce sucks, but he is 100% on a mission to make Bryce fail

It's truly baffling... Every play the play clock is down to 5 or less before we snap. You would think we are up 3 touchdowns...

The good news is any answer will be more productive than watching this dumpster fire team get steamrolled every game

Less the talent, moreso the team being unprepared most weeks, terrible play calling, trying to run the clock out in the last 2 minutes down 10, and more stuff I can't think of right now

This... Not to mention how consistently late he is getting the play call in for the offense

We all know Bryce sucks, but each passing game is making me realize Canales isn't any better. Clean house of everyone - from gm to Coach to coordinators to position coaches and come out with a completely new front office for next year's draft

Throw a short pass on 3rd to then punt instead of kicking a FG... We can't be this dumb of a team...

Can't wait to hear the bryce-stans are blaming the defense this time
