  1. Aka, we need time to figure out what BS reason we are going to use as an excuse to hopefully get a more lenient punishment...
  2. He is definitely a receiver that will be out of the NFL within a few years and will probably be broke shortly after that
  3. Very glad that Luke not playing a ton of seasons didn't hurt his HOF chances. Dude was as dominant of a defender there was while he played in the NFL. Still miss him & TD with their elite LB play when we had them
  4. I get what you are saying, but let's also keep in mind teams pretty much had their backups in after halftime the last month and change of the season against the Jets. After their win against the Falcons (lol Failcons), they lost by: 24, 28, 23, 32, and 27. Much easier to rack up garbage time yards against backups. But yeah, our offense was ass this season outside of like maybe 4 games + the playoff game.
  5. Yikes, I wonder if he was the only person that said yes to the OC job for the Jets
  6. When have we not looked like ass in the preseason... Easily going on a decade of looking completely lost in the preseason
  7. Have the games in Europe been confirmed yet? Happy to see we have 9 home games, but I figure we will get screwed over and have 1 of them be in another country...
  8. That tells you everything you need to know when the Pro Bowl is happening on a random Tuesday in god knows what city. Until the day they hold something like the 4 Nations or WBC like hockey and baseball do, it's a meaningless event that honestly no NFL player gives 2 shits about
  9. It's crazy how good Staal still is at his age
  10. Not sure you can blame the front office there. We had 3 OL have the equivalent of season ending injuries between Hunt, BC, and Icky despite having a good unit IMO. Now... I do blame the front office drafting RBs and old college busts (DJ) when we had more pressing needs
  11. Interesting. Curious how far back those stats date? I feel like medical advances have helped overcome bad injuries a lot better the past 20 years. Honestly feel awful for icky and hope he comes back better than before. Maybe we can resign him to a 1-2 year deal and if LT is too much for the knee, move him inside
  12. This... I have a lot of problems with Rod, but I think this is probably the best coaching job he has done yet with the amount of injuries to key players we have had to overcome so far.
  13. Relax. Still in first in the division and still don't think we have played our best hockey yet this year
  14. Smart choice. Tabletop game would have been way better than watching this
  15. Man even though I don't blame Freddie, I swear he leaves the worst rebounds on saves he doesn't glove
  16. What the hell was Hall doing there? Dude just kicked Freddie
  17. Good news is we won't have to worry about Freddie being in net in the playoffs
  18. Feel like we have no shot in a shootout with Freddie in net, so better win this in OT
  19. I don't argue that, but we have been awful in every aspect of the game today. Rare time it's not on Freddie
  20. Jeez... We have to be on pace for the most shots allowed for us in a game this season
  21. Surprisingly this team has actually looked pretty good when we have all of our starters healthy
  22. While it's not impossible, it's much different when a star/established player holds out for more money vs. a UDFA that has maybe 2 million in career earnings (before taxes). Not sure he has the luxury to hold out when he has made such little money so far in his career
  23. Agreed - he had to endure the dumpster fires that were us and the jets for a long time before finding teams that aren't dumpster fires
