Pass on Geno... we don't need another QB that only throws checkdowns. Jameis is the answer - the dude is capable of making throws that the best QBs can make. He just has a Madden awareness rating of 4... At least with Jameis, we can gauge how good our receivers/TEs are and know what we need in those respective parts (like is Coker a legit 3rd receiver, can XL look good with any other QB, etc.). Stidham would be another QB I'm curious about also

I am going to assume that his record isn't much better following a loss... That's why he has a career win percentage of like 35%

Saints are the first team I (think I) have seen that ran strictly 1 deep or 0 deep safeties the entire game while stacking the box. They were daring us to throw any type of deep route (go, post, corner, etc.) and we only tried it once on that deep throw attempt to XL. The only times I really saw 2 deep safeties were when we were 3rd and 10+ DC made zero adjustments and the Saints did their homework. I fully expect ATL to do the same thing and run primarily 0 or 1 deep safety

I think it's a both problem. Bryce cannot throw good, accurate deep balls + DC continues to call plays where every receiver is running 15 yards or less (many times 10 yards or less). I'm tired of seeing play calls where we have an outside receiver running a 12-10 curl and having an inside receiver running an 8 yard out route - just terrible play design and is making life even harder for our awful QB we have

Rivera was a dude that played in the NFL and would have the respect of players. He knows the type of effort that is expected on the field and would chew out the team when needed (we also had Cam/Luke there to also do so). Canales is just a dude that wants to be everybody's friend and tell them they are God's gift and do nothing wrong. This is one of the top reasons why the guy is an awful coach - he doesn't hold any of the players responsible for playing like ass

Hopefully embarrassing loss Monday was a bunch of suicides and oklahomas for the team yesterday. Who am I kidding, I'm sure DC told them all they played a great game and just got unlucky...

Yeah, I feel like the Saints biggest plays on offense came because our edge rushers completely whiffed on the sack. Slough then scrambled outside of the pocket and then hit an open downfield receiver. I'm starting to think Edge might actually be a bigger concern than Linebacker - we just don't generate any pressure with a 4 man rush unless DB beats the double team he is facing Defense was awful IMO Sunday. I would look at a trade for another team's backups, since the free agent class is ass. I would be interested in Stidham, Winston, McKee (probably hard to get), or Brissett (not sure Cards part with him because Kyler is also ass) If we are going free agent route, Mariota or Zach Wilson might be our best options. Maybe Flacco? Definitely an ugly free agent list

Outside of maybe the road saints game, we will not be favored again this entire year. So... We will be favored once, maybe twice this season. That is pathetic

The Packers got into the Red zone like six times last week and scored a total of 13 points from it... They lost the game despite holding us to 16 points and never punting the ball. Their HC thought going for it on 4th and 9 down seven with the entire 4th quarter left was a smart choice... That's the kind of a game a team might win once in a season Happy we won that game, but we had no business winning it. We won the Jets game and falcons game because of our defense. We won the dolphins and cowboys game because DC was forced to give Rico carries because Chuba got hurt. DC can't even make basic decisions that most middle schoolers know to make... We have come out in back-to-back seasons looking like dog poo because the dude refuses to ever have our starters prepare/play in the preseason. At the end of the day, he is an awful coach that will probably at least get one more year because he has the scapegoat that it is hard to win because Bryce is so freaking awful

We aren't winning because of DC... We are winning because teams either shoot themselves in the foot Non-Stop or Evero and the defense stand on their head and hold a team below 14...

Listened to most of the game in the car on the drive back from watching the Panthers poo the bed. Sounds like we hit three or four posts in the second period. Glad we came back to win

Honestly, I just want to see DC have a game where he calls mostly deep routes and tells Bryce to Chuck it deep. If he throws 3 or more INTs, that will help make it very obvious Bryce is not a QB worthy of a roster spot on any NFL team

You say that, but the offense was still predictable as crap. The same indide zone run and the slot receiver running the three yard out route was pretty much our entire offense... I know Bryce can't throw deep for crap, but you have to start sending receivers deep when NO is running press man on the outside with zero safeties over the top. Instead we are running every eligible receiver 10 yds or less. Bryce sucks, but this offense is way too easy to scheme against. Honestly shocked other defenses haven't done what New Orleans did today

New week, same exact poo of the team not looking prepared in the least bit. I honestly don't think we have looked prepared in any game this year outside of maybe Atlanta, and that was a kitchen sink we can't afford to go 0-3 type game. There are many complaints I have about DC, but we look unprepared most games and he seems to never make any in game adjustments. We keep calling the same types of plays despite New Orleans having nine in the box - either a Rico inside run or one of our receivers running a three yard out route...

This 100% is not a playoff caliber team, unless we had an elite QB like mahomes, Allen, or burrow.

Canales is just as much of a problem as Bryce. Both need to be gone in a hurry

He's not fuged up, which is definitely more than the saints have done in most games. Dude isn't good, but he definitely poo on our D today
