  1. Lol, when I heard his name, I was like "I remember when that bum was a turnstile for us"
  2. If the eagles keep losing, we could somehow end up with the 3 seed if we somehow play well the last month of the year
  3. Ummm... No. When this guy's highlight for the year is doing a stop drop and roll to avoid 12 guys on the field, you are having an awful season...
  4. Offense: 1) throw the ball on 1st down early in the game 2) throw the ball deep every now and then 3) use the pass to make NO not have 9 in the box, then run the ball Defense: 1) stop the run 2) take away the seams and dump offs to the flats 3) force a couple of turnovers
  5. Revamp the QB room, yes! Trade for shadeur, heeelllll no
  6. Welcome to trash mountain! ... I mean the NFC South
  7. Don't think it matters who would have won because I doubt we get a wild card. Theoretically, I think it's better the Lions won because the cowboys remaining schedule is very easy
  8. At this point, might need to give up on Freddie and just roll with Bussi and Kucci
  9. Likely unsustainable. Granted - half of our defense + all of our wideouts are making little money, so it makes it easier to extend Icky now. By the time we need to extend our current rookies/2nd years, most of our oline's contracts will be done or will be on their last year (should be a good cap savings cut if need be). I think they were smart with the 2 year extension to Moton - I doubt they keep him afterwards unless it's on the cheap. That gives us a chance to draft a lineman and develop them if we want.
  10. I'll be surprised if Simpson falls that low. I think teams will like how quick he gets rid of the ball. There are enough QB desperate teams in the top 12 between Cleveland, Raiders, Jets, possibly Rams (Stafford is up there in age), and possibly the Vikings if they think JJ is Jamarcus Russell 2.0
  11. Maybe Bryce is playing the long con where he intentionally looks like ass 3/4 of the game and then when teams expect him to continue to be bad, he actually plays halfway decent and manages to lead the 4th Q comeback drive TD
  12. Don't think anybody here is saying he is good. I'm just glad he hasn't been a significant detriment to the team like he was the first 5-6 games
  13. I will happily take quiet on the field over the many screwups he had the first half of our games played. Still think we should upgrade at FS if we can, but happy that he isn't a guaranteed liability every play now
  14. I don't think us being at home vs the road makes any bit of difference. We just saw them only call 1 penalty on the Rams Sunday - and if it wasn't a penalty that couldn't go uncalled (delay of game), they likely would have had 0. And crazy enough, Rams fans were blaming the refs for losing to us
  15. Nick Scott. I feel like the 1st 5ish games, I was screaming that dude's name out many times in a game because they would pick apart his zone or he would miss a tackle that always moved the chains for the other team. I really haven't been calling his name the past 4-5 games, which is a huge improvement for him.
  16. Peter Woods would be a good pick if he is there in the middle of the 1st round. Bailey and Faulk at Edge, Arvell Reese (if he somehow drops because ILB aren't valued), or Terrell at CB all have my attention also. I do think there is some pretty good talent at the top part of this draft at the non-QB positions
  17. It makes sense (even though I don't think Bryce is the answer). Bring in competition next year for him and if he sucks, then you trade him to another team who will have him for his 5th year to try and make him a reclamation project
  18. South Carolina has to be the top (Horn, XL, Rico, Wonnum, maybe more). After that, no idea. I would guess ND (Evans, Tremble, maybe more) and maybe Bama (Bryce, Robinson, maybe more) and TCU (Dalton, Moehrig, maybe more). I think we have a lot of colleges that have 2 players on our roster. Guessing most of our players are from the SEC. I don't know where most of our random practice squad callups and free agent acquisitions went to.
  19. Even if the Bucs lose to NO or ATL, they will still have the tiebreaker over us due to a better record in common games. Only way we could realistically make the playoffs over them if we split with them is if they lose to both NO and ATL, which isn't going to happen. If Tampa somehow lost NO (or ATL) and at Miami while we win all but 1 Tampa game, we could end up winning the division off having a better record (also unlikely to happen). Pretty much, it's sweep the Bucs to make the playoffs. If we don't, we have a very small chance to make the playoffs
  20. I have a hard time thinking Zavala would be decent at LG when he has been straight ass at RG. He is slow off the snap, gets bull rushed easily, has terrible pass blocking footwork, and looks utterly lost as to who to block whenever the opposing Dline does a stunt. Average-ish strength/athleticism combined with bad technique and awareness is not want I want to see from an offensive lineman...
  21. I'll take solid with a couple of bad plays over Zavala being awful on just about every pass blocking opportunity. Curhen was on the Cardinal's practice squad for a reason - he isn't very talented. That being said, I think he has done a solid job in the games he has played.
  22. Time for us to do something hilarious and sign him to our team and give him a 1 year extension for vet minimum. Then next year, trade him to Minnesota again for a 4th rounder
  23. After the saints game: After the rams game:
