    Give the saints credit - they are stacking the box with 0 deep safeties and blitzing everybody else (unless it's 3rd and long). When your QB can't/won't throw deep, it makes it easier

    Then they would call DPI on Horn.. offense can get away with murder in those situations and the slightest touch will usually be a penalty on the defense

    I'll go with 2017, only for the fact that Damiere Byrd may have gotten more TDs for us in that game than the rest of his panthers (and possibly NFL) career. Then we never heard from him again

    I would love to know what these advanced stats are... Because whenever they throw at Nick Scott, it's a catch... Maybe volume is saving him because we are more willing to give up underneath stuff than deep passes

    In all honesty, outside of the Saints games, I don't think we will be favored in any remaining game (unless Tampa is playing their backups against us week 18)

    Rough back half of the schedule. NFC West looks like the best division (up there with NFC North), Tampa has been very good this year (despite their injuries), and I can't remember the last time we swept the season series with Atl (easily more than 10 years). I think we go 8-9 - beat the Saints twice and go 1-1 against the Bucs.

    Let me guess... 75% on completing 3 out of 4 passes 20+ yards (of which all of the passes were probably to wide open receivers). And lol at short pass completion % for #2 and 3 being Rattler and Bryce. That just tells you both QBs check down way too often... I don't care if you are accurate throwing a 3 yard dump off on 3rd and 10

    Fair point. I do think he did very well the 1st half of that one year he started for the Saints when they ran a run/playaction pass type offense, which could fit in with our current style of offense. I still think Winston is capable of making any NFL caliber throw, which you won't see from any of the bottom half QBs. Dude just doesn't make smart decisions when the 1st read isn't open

    Still think Jameis is the way to go for Vet QB. Best talent of the bottom tier QB - you just gotta hope his ~5 dumb passes in a game don't result in an INT

    True, but not every team has their bye week Week 14... And I would say most teams aren't down 4 offensive linemen (not even counting Moton or Lewis being on the injury report every week)
