Gotta play way more positionally sound tonight - I can't stress enough how good NJ is with getting odd man breaks. I expect NJ to come out guns ablazing again to start the game. Weather the storm for the first 5-10 minutes and get to work from there.

I didn't expect us to win game 3 with it pretty much being win or go home for the Devils. That being said, we cannot look this bad on defense any more in the playoffs. We don't have the scorers to get away with it.

Less that - more way too many odd man rushes allowed. We did a great job limiting them game 1 and Freddie bailed us out a bit in game 2 with them. I don't know if our defense was drunk or what but they played a terrible positioning game today. They were aggressive when they shouldn't have been and passive when they should have. Very uncharacteristic of them and hopefully we don't see another game like this on D the rest of the playoffs. I think it also is in part because we can't linematch on the road. I think a big part of why we are so much better at home vs. the road is because line matching is probably most important to us than any other team in the NHL.

If there is anything encouraging about this game, our offense definitely created a lot of scoring chances. Defense needs to stop playing like dumbasses and our Goalies need to learn how to make a save. I'll give Freddie a pass for how amazing he was the previous 3 games. Pytor... Just go back to the AHL asap

Get Raanta up to Jersey pronto and do not let Pyotr dress again for the playoffs. I don't care if we have an emergency goalie suit up in place of him

They've been a lot better this year than last year on the road in the playoffs. A couple of ill-timed pinches by dmen played a big part on goals 2 and 3. We should know our scouting - the Devils offense consists of counters and odd-man breaks. You don't let them get that, they struggle to score (see games 1 and 2)

People that are blaming Freddie must not be watching the same game I am... That was just an absolute snipe by Hughes on the 2nd goal. Let's blame Noesen for practically whiffing on a pass that most players easily steal or at least deflect away from play

I think overall we have outplayed them so far. Unlucky Necas hit the post, got a bit unlucky on their first goal, and then an absolute brain fart on defense on the 2nd goal

Well, we knew they would come out throwing the kitchen sink at us. Try and get it together. If not, it's only one game and go steal game 4.
