  1. Seeing as how the Saints almost beat the Cowboys by 30 at their house, maybe that loss wasn't as bad as I thought... I honestly think both sides of the ball just quit after realizing how much Bryce sucked. I could see better effort/desire out of our team against the Raiders this week (unless Dalton sucks as bad as Bryce does).
  2. Also, I think this change happened because I honestly think the locker room would have revolted if they kept trotting Bryce out there. Literally our top 2 receivers were pissed at Bryce and had to say some ho-hum I didn't mean nonsense. I gotta imagine this is how the Jets felt last year with Zach Wilson at QB.
  3. Ummm, seeing how he forced Reich to draft Bryce, I would probably say otherwise. I think Tepper hired him hoping he could be the QB whisperer that fixed Baker, but Canales probably quickly realized there is no fixing Young. I honestly think Dalton is the day 1 starter if Bryce wasn't the #1 pick from last year that we traded a kings ransom to get and it was a true open competition in training camp/preseason.
  4. I honestly thought he played really well in the Seattle game despite our D having arguably their worst game of the year and having zilcho run game.
  5. The defense is playing like crap because most of the players on D aren't worth a crap. And that is something we knew when we lost as much talent as we did and spent all of our FA money on offense. I could care less about the D - what I want to see is how good our receivers/TEs/RBs/oline will look now that they have a somewhat competent QB back there.
  6. Andy Dalton looked way better in 1 start than Bryce did in 19 games... Granted, I think I could go to a random no-name FCS school and see a better QB, so that isn't saying much. Nobody here thinks we are now a superbowl contender by going to Dalton. But now, we have hopes of being within single digits late in the game; not being down 30 and knowing that even if they played an extra 10 quarters Bryce would never lead the team to 30 points.
  7. Wow, if that isn't a "I give up on this bum" type of answer, I don't know what is. This is leading me to believe that he hasn't been working hard if a coach says this during a presser
  8. Lol, I'm trying to envision an oline of all 5 foot nothing guys that weigh 300 pounds
  9. True, but this is probably the best oline we have had since our Superbowl year. Dalton did pretty well with quick passes against Seattle and hopefully he can do the same this year if our oline can keep blocking well.
  10. How great would it be if Canales did this "off script" and never told Tepper. Canales would be my hero if that was the case.
  11. Why not? If Darnold, Geno, and Baker can have a resurgence, maybe the football gods will also bless Dalton
  12. Sadly, those 2 TD passes is the same number Bryce has had his past 9 games... And take out the GB game, and it is 2 more TD passes than Bryce has had the other 8 games...
  13. sounds like he has 3 times the passer rating and touchdowns as Bryce and half the INTs in the same span... I'll gladly take slightly below mediocre (Dalton) over wanting to stab myself in the eyes he is so awful (Bryce) every day of the week
  14. Pretty good deal to get paid and sit behind the disaster of a QB named Bryce. Front row seats to that comedy
  15. Canales just told Tepper "go fug yourself" and made the decision on his own. Sources: my dreams and wishes
  16. Is this where the Bryce nut huggers say something like "he was playing the 85 bears defense every game during that stretch"...
  17. Maybe Bryce hasn't recognized yet that he is supposed to throw to the receivers wearing Panther's jerseys, not the other team's jerseys...
  18. Sounds like the famous last words for him if he is putting all his faith in Bryce
  19. This would be amazing if this happens. Hopefully somebody leaks that Tepper is a bigger freak than good ole boy Jerry Richardson
  20. It's like the five stages of grief - we went through denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and now we are just permanently stuck at acceptance... That our team is awful and will never be good again
  21. His confidence is in the Lord because he knows it will take several miracles for him to actually play well and win a game for us. He might want to consider atheism or agnosticism because I don't think the Lord has confidence in him
