Our gameplan is pretty much hope that the other team fugs up more than we fug up. Somehow that strategy has resulted in a winning record (so far)

Not sure you can call JAX (and even AZ) missed opportunities. JAX has a good chance of making the playoffs and AZ isn't as bad as their record shows

Even still, the bucs will be favored the rest of their games this season after the rams game

I don't see how our chances go to 45% with a win when we will be an underdog in every remaining game (outside of maybe at NO where we might be a 1 point favorite if lucky)

Really? I thought at the worst after those 1st 2 seasons, he would be the LT version of Jeff Otah. I also still think many of his season 1 sacks allowed was because Bryce was taking like 10 step dropbacks in the pocket. His biggest weaknesses IMO were the false starts and holds. He has definitely cut down on those since year 2

Yeah, I'm not sure what exactly he was doing there. Boldy came way too close to him in my opinion and then freddie just randomly dives out almost seeming like he was trying to cover a loose puck...

I think the better question for Monday might be can our defense not look like ass in the first half...

Bummer with the shootout loss. I personally thought Jarvis and svech had pretty good moves - there goalie just made some good saves. Hall, on the other hand, was pathetic on his attempt

Chuba's problem for the games he looked bad is that he looked hesitant and didn't know where to run. He actually seemed to be thinking less and just running Sunday, which helped.

I think one of them (maybe Rozeboom) is the green dot responsibility and calling our plays, so they can't come out. ATL is a tougher matchup also because they have big bodied receivers (I think that is why Smith-Wade rode the bench a lot of the game). My bigger problem was Evero reverting back to his old self only calling the same cover 3 drop the entire 1st half. Played way too far back off the line of scrimmage and ATL just kept sneaking a curl route (usually London) in under a corner/go route and it was always open. Evero finally changed up the scheme in the 2nd half and the D actually looked somewhat competent (also helped Penix got hurt)

I feel like TD is the rare exception to someone suffering 3 ACL injuries and somehow coming back to be a dominant player for years afterwards. Probably not looking good for Brooks being a contributor. ACL injuries for a RB, where you constantly have to plant and be a 1-cut RB, makes it even more unlikely

Didn't see who all was out there on ATL's last minute drive for the tying FG, but you can't just throw all safeties and corners out there in the back 7 when ATL is running the ball for like 8 yards a carry against us... And you still want a LB or 2 out there in case ATL runs a screen or sneaks a run. Unfortunately for us, Wallace + Ransom being hurt didn't let us go with our usual Big Nickel package with 3 corners, 3 safeties, and Wallace in the back 7

While the Bucs schedule is definitely easier than ours, they have definitely been reeling of late and Baker seems to have come back down to Earth a bit (largely in part of the injuries). I'll be shocked if they beat the Rams and could see them losing to a Cardinals team I think is better than their record shows. Dolphins game could be a tricky one for them also - they have played pretty well at home. But yeah, they will likely have the division record advantage over us if we split with them because they likely beat NO and ATL. I think we have to get to 10 wins to have any chance of making the playoffs - best chance of doing that is winning NO and SF and then either sweeping Tampa or beating the Seahawks + splitting with Tampa. Now that I look at it, I think our only chance really is sweeping Tampa. That home loss to NO badly hurt our playoff chances...

Give him credit for the game winning drives he has led. Also, realize that we wouldn't have needed a GWD in most of those games if he wasn't complete ass the first 3.5 quarters of the game
