  1. Barring going 2-15 or worse, I doubt it. I think Evero will be the scapegoat and Morgan/Canales will get 1 more year. I'm sure Tepper will meddle again with which QB we should draft in 2026 and we will likely choose the wrong QB again. Rinse and repeat the 3 years after and we will be back in the same situation in 2029
  2. Pick any of the following: -He can't win with these receivers. He would be elite if he had Jamar Chase and Justin Jefferson at WR. -It is all the defense's fault (as we lose the game 20-3) -It's the oline's fault -Bryce would be elite if we still had AT on the team -It was just an off day -All of the above
  3. Lol, and no other QB has to go through drops or wrong routes ran... I have never seen another QB be coddled by reporters and the like and find every possible excuse except for Bryce just not being that good
  4. Sadly... I feel like the most Joy I can get watching the NFL is seeing the bears waste the trade rape they fleeced us on for Bryce. I feel like all of their fans were making fun of us and it's so karma that it is backfiring for them
  5. Unless you are 100% sure your kicker can kick it out of the end zone, then you don't take that chance. Just a bad decision from Johnson
  6. Why wouldn't you kick it out of bounds there? Or onside kick. The bears needed that two minute warning on defense to have a chance
  7. Safe to say that Bryce and Caleb Williams will be playing in the CFL next year...
  8. The one bright spot of our bears trade is that they have been as awful as we have since it happened and their QB is also terrible
  9. Easy - I watched an offense that scored 3 points most of the game before Jacksonville called off the dogs and gave the offense a TD late. 10 of those points also came on a short field due to a bryce interception and the failed onside kick. Defense even gave them enough opportunities to make it a game in the 2nd half and all they did was fug it up. Not saying our defense played great, but that loss was more on the offense than defense. If we can only rely on our offense to score 3 non garbage time points against below average defenses, then we will safely go 0-17
  10. No, we will probably beat Arizona because it's the one team we have owned the past 20 years for some reason...
  11. I mean... maybe we need to player more older guys on offense since the defense somehow looked better than the offense yesterday... In short, sounds like a "you suck more, no you suck more" type of rift might form between these 2 as they both battle to stay employed
  12. Not sure how much say Evero has had in choosing our FA defensive players, but if these are guys he wanted, that is a fireable offense alone. It really is a hodgepodge of players that do not complement each other one bit.
  13. We really haven't run that much 3-4 under Evero - and I would imagine even more so this season since we have inept ILBs. We have played a lot of nickel with an even front and we look just as bad in that as we do in 3-4. The problem is we have had to dedicate so much drafting/free agency signing to offense to try and make Bryce look competent that we have completely neglected the defense and gone bargain bin shopping for most of our players. We aren't going to be able to find good linemen/linebackers quickly, although I do think Scourton and Princely have flexibility in being able to play 4-3 DE or edge rusher OLB (if they develop into starters).
  14. Don't think it matters whether you have DB as a 4-3 DT or a 3-4 end when the rest of the front 7 just isn't very good. Dude is going to command double teams regardless on how we line him up.
  15. I'm going to be in the minority, but I thought the run D was solid outside of the 70 yard run - and I think the run D would have been even better if we didn't have ILBs that are complete ass. The pass rush, on the other hand, was flat out pathetic. Surprised JC and Jackson held up as well as they did in coverage. Legette is giving me Mingo vibes of he will never develop into anything. Hated the pick when we drafted him, and still hate it now.
  16. He was probably also the guy that said "give Pickles one more year and we will be Superb Owl winners"
  17. Aahh, ok. Not sure why they need to put run block snap counts for QB when he didn't run block... Also don't get why he has a 60 run block grade unless that is the default
  18. That is what happens when you start Nijman at LT for reasons I don't know... Edit: Also curious if Bryce was dropping back in the pocket too far like he often did his rookie year. Didn't pay enough attention and started tuning in to other games once I realized the team didn't show up
  19. Need help with these grades... Did Bryce score as high as he did because he earned 20 points off... (checks notes) run blocking?
  20. While it looks terrible, take away that 70 yard run and they would have only averaged a touch over 4 yards a carry, which isn't bad. Hard for the defense to do much when the offense is completely inept. They held the Jags to 6 points in the 2nd half and gave the offense their chances to score some points.
  21. I actually think Tepper is trying to be more hands off than he was under Rhule & Reich. Unfortunately the dude keeps hiring bums like Canales...
  22. Yeah, but he possesses the talent. Dude still has top end arm strength and can throw with anticipation. Not his fault Houston has decided to trot out the worst oline in the league in front of him (arguably has had the worst oline in the NFL in front of him since he was drafted). We drafted Bryce because we thought he had the processing ability of Brady. In reality, he has the processing ability of Jamarcus Russell
  23. I'd say top 5 or 10. He at least looked ok for 6 weeks of his soon to be end of career
  24. Our team is too busy putting the worst possible Iggy replacement on the field to pay attention to who should be starting C...
