  1. Any chance the NFL sees this as worse as Jerry Richardson's shenanigans? Crossing my fingers and praying they blackball Tepper from the NFL now
  2. And sadly, I think that is a higher number than the current fans we still have.... But yeah, I want Russell Wilson nowhere near Carolina
  3. Payton does like his basic white midget QBs to make him look good
  4. Always trust in pyotr the great!!! But seriously, I am happy to see him do well! He has always had the stuff to be an elite goalie and hopefully this is the start of that
  5. Glad to see that Bryce played well against Green Bay, but let's not forget that our ex trash QB Baker Mayfield had the game of his life against them not too long ago... I want him to succeed, but need to see more from him
  6. We are in the first year of running a true 3-4 and our defense has done pretty damn well, despite not having the right pieces at several positions. Get a nose tackle, another ILB (possibly two if we cut shaq), and one or two edge rushers depending on whether we resign burns or not and our D will be very good. Top priority has to be a nose tackle though - you look at all the great 3-4 defenses that have existed and you will find the common theme was they all had a very good run stopping, blocker eating nose tackle to clear the way for the linebackers
  7. Let's be honest... Even if they do get caught red-handed, things won't change
  8. The NFL got exactly what they wanted - The Panthers covered the spread which made Vegas a lot of money and the Packers won which made a lot of bandwagon fans happy. If we want refs to start calling plays in our favor, then we need to not be a poverty franchise
  9. I don't think anybody here is arguing that our defense is elite talent wise. What we are arguing is that Evero is somehow making a bottom 10 (possibly bottom 5) talent defense look pretty damn good. You put Luke, TD, Shaq, prime Norman, and all of the great pass rushers we had on this defense and I'm sure Evero would have them playing as good, if not better, than our best D years of the mid-late 2010s
  10. Our defensive stats have far outperformed our defensive talent this year, especially when you factor in injuries. Defense is ranked 3rd in the NFL in yards against and would be better in points allowed/game if our offense didn't spot the other team 10 points with awful turnovers and constantly giving good field position to the other opposing offense. Evero has done a remarkable job IMO despite having one of the worst offenses I have ever seen constantly putting the defense in bad situations
  11. Aahh, ok. Yeah, wouldn't blame them. I wouldn't want the stink of having to coach this terrible team
  12. 100% agree. I thought I just read your previous reply of if they stay meaning that they could get jobs as the same role on another team. Evero 100% could, brown 0.001% chance could
  13. Possibly. I don't see brown leaving if we allow him to keep his OC job - I just don't think he is very good. Evero I wouldn't be surprised if he wants to leave
  14. Sounds better to me. I usually have one or two shots around where I'm teetering on the point of hitting a house about 50 yards off the fairway
  15. I wouldn't read too much into that. I think that's more of letting them focus on their job instead of having them call plays and focus on their job. Brown wasn't even calling plays until 2 weeks before Reich was fired...
  16. If we don't keep him, he 100% gets another DC job next year somewhere
  17. Looks like you beat me to the Evero post. Yeah, he has worked miracles with our defense this year
  18. I know we will want some offensive genius to make our offense not god awful, but I feel like we need to give some appreciation to how amazing of a job Evero has done with the defense this year, despite the defense not having a ton of talent + suffering a lot of injuries while the offense constantly puts them in bad situations. I'm afraid we will lose him when we hire our new coaching staff and I would be pretty depressed if that happens. This isn't the same scenario as Wilks, who is a great Ra ra ra coach but a terrible X's and o's coach (and frankly not even a very good DC) Opinions on whether y'all would want Evero as head coach or not.
  19. That might be the best news I've seen this year for the Panthers
  20. What do we consider marginally better than record-breaking ineptitude? But in all seriousness, congrats to the team on getting a win. Defense carried yet again, but credit goes to the offense for managing to have a clock killing drive leading to the game-winning field goal
  21. There was much to hate about this game, but kneeling it three times at the goal line was the correct decision. No chance for Atlanta to score a touchdown to tie/win it. Every team would have done what we did kneeling it to ice the clock for a chip shot fg
  22. Well, that's a very embarrassing loss for the falcons
  23. I think that's better than his usual game sadly...
  24. Seahawks are better than all of the teams I mentioned that we lost to. And our defense played well in all of them
