  1. We need to do the opposite of that. I want as much cap as possible for 2026 and beyond. We already know we will suck at least the next 2 years
  2. We are lucky there isn't relegation in the NFL. I honestly don't think our roster could make the playoffs in the CFL
  3. Not sure we can afford to keep shelling out $100 million dollar contracts to player when we are so void of talent. Probably for the best
  4. Umm.... what??? Pretty sure he was like 2 out of 7 (at best) in games where we had the ball down 1 score in the last few minutes of a game.
  5. Yep. And I said back then we will regret this and this trade just solidified it. And I am placing no blame on Morgan - not his fault that Fitterer was a complete retard and turned down that trade. I think Burns looking like crap last year made most teams hesitant to shell out Joey Bosa type of money - the Giants were just dumb enough to pay him that contract.
  6. You just can't do that after spending the number 1 pick on him last year. Don't get me wrong, Bryce very well could be a complete bust, but you have to give him 1 more year and see how he looks. If I see no progression and he still only makes maybe 1 wow play a game, then you can look at QB next year (if there is a good one at #1) or all-out tank again in the 2025 season and get a QB in 2026.
  7. Yeah, I have no clue what our front office is doing. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem bringing nobody back and playing a "the Replacements" talent level of a team to tank. I'm just confused why they then give a guard a $100 million contract off 1 career year on a team that had weapons galore that could get open in a heartbeat.
  8. Fair. DB might get 250 tackles for us next year because I'm not sure who else we are going to have out there that can tackle
  9. So the opposite of last year of not being able to field an offense?
  10. So you are saying we should have given them contracts and then traded them away to accrue dead cap?... Contracts that outside of Luvu, I wouldn't want our front office to offer...
  11. I guess we will need elite level guards to help our midget QB see down field... Still, $150 million to 2 guards is wild
  12. Everyone get your paper bags ready! At least we are tanking correctly this time
  13. 2 years, 18 mill?? That's about 10 million more than I think he is worth
  14. Good. We need to get this loser stench all of these players have off our team
  15. This guy seriously predicts us to have a better record than 4 other teams in the NFL??? I think this dude lost all credibility right there
  16. No team is giving a 2025 second and 2026 first for him if this was the best offer we got... Not sure what planet you live on. Maybe a team would have given us a 2025 first for him, but if that team was like the Lions, you are talking about a pick that would have been very late in the first round likely. I don't see a team that was bad this year giving up a first rounder next year instead of a second rounder this year if they assume they will be a mediocre at best team next year.
  17. As depressing as the value is we got back from losing some of our best players, I think our front office finally realizes we are minimum 3 years away from being an average or better team. Many of these players would be in their 30s by the time we are relevant Now it's a matter of seeing if our front office is going to give Bryce a better o-line/weapons or if they have given up on him and will let him be tank Commander to our next QB in 2025. Anyways, everyone should enjoy being able to take next year off from watching the Panthers and tuning in for the 2025 draft
  18. To all the people saying we will guaranteed get at least a first for burns, here is me saying I told you so... The fact many of us thought we would get a first rounder + either a somewhat good player or a 3rd/4th rounder was even more foolish. Good for Burns though - he found a team foolish enough to give him a crazy contract.
  19. Same. Everyone points to his Georgia game as the game that sold them on him being an elite QB, but I still think that Utah bowl game the previous year was the best I saw him look at QB. I know Utah's defense was far worse than Georgia's, but the pinpoint throws he made that game despite his defense not being able to stop a nosebleed and the run game being just mediocre had me sold on him then.
  20. They all rated him lower because of execs' fascination with the stupid S2 test and thinking that BY was going to be the next coming of Manning, Brees, and Brady with superior football intellect because of his high score on said test that he had been taking since high school. Unfortunately he has a noodle arm, terrible footwork, and sub-par accuracy. I hope that somehow changes and he can be as good as Stroud, but I'm still pissed we didn't draft Stroud. People just assumed he was a bum (I think there were several "experts" that had Stroud being the 4th or 5th QB picked) because he was throwing to elite receivers. The dude was still dropping dimes on 20-30 yard corner routes like it was a walk in the park (watch his Utah bowl game).
  21. And... Winning this division really doesn't mean much. That is like being crowned a dwarf among midgets... And giving Cousins a 4 year dear is pretty crazy at his age + coming off a major injury. I see a lot of dead cap when they probably cut him after year 3. Regardless, it doesn't change our plans. Get rid of bloated contracts/dead weight players, acquire draft picks if possible, and embrace the tank. We should have our new QB come draft time next year.
  22. Bury one on this PP. I'm tired of crap no name goalies playing the game of their life against us
