  1. I guess I should have asked if you are “seriously advocating” for it.
  2. Are you advocating for “rights” for machines?
  3. I liked No Way Home initially. However, the more I think back on it, the more I think I don’t really like it. The storyline was actually not great, and Tom Holland’s Spider-man’s desire to fix everyone really made no sense.
  4. After some additional review, I think the site I am using accounted for ranking at the time of the game, whereas the Google link seems to account for ranking at the end of the season.
  5. I was looking at his record on this site. https://fbschedules.com/2019-baylor-football-schedule/
  6. So winning at the highest level in college football with what was, by all accounts of athletic ability, an NFL team is better than turning around a historically terrible Temple team and a scandal ridden Baylor team? Common sense suggests that turning around those two teams would be significantly harder than recruiting top notch players to a top notch program in a top notch location and then winning with them.
  7. I haven’t even looked through all of Rhule’s collegiate seasons, but this is wrong. His Baylor teams beat ranked Oklahoma State teams two years in a row.
  8. This is such bull crap. He spent four years at Temple and three at Baylor. He took Temple from a two win team his first year to a two-time division champ in a four year period. He took Baylor from a one win team riddled from the Art Briles scandal to an 11 win team in the Sugar Bowl in his third and final year. If those two rebuilds are “somewhat improv[ing]” a team, you and those like you were never going to give Rhule a fair shake.
  9. That’s not the Seahawks. It’s the Seahawks’ pick, which the Jets will get from the Adams trade, I believe.
  10. Unless he returns a negative test, I think he cannot be involved at all. Makes very little sense to negate his ability to be involved if his involvement can be isolated away from others, but that’s the way it is, I think.
  11. Which is sort of my point as well. Tepper made the decision to hire Rhule, knowing there would be a learning curve. BB proved that the learning curve can be steep, even for the most successful NFL coordinators.
  12. Despite the Patriot hate on this board, I think many would agree that Belicheck is the GOAT coach, or at least in the very small groups in the discussion. Even with his career, it took him time to get to where he has. His Browns days were tumultuous. He fought a battle of developing his culture versus the culture of a hometown hero (Bernie Kosar). This was even with Belicheck having been an NFL assistant for years under one of the top tier coaches of all time (Parcells). I swear this board is ridiculous. Many of you don’t want to give Rhule the time to grow into being an NFL head coach. Yet at the same time, you don’t want a retread. Where does that leave you? Hiring an assistantW who will need to learn and grow into being an NFL head coach. Your all’s lives must be so stress-ridden and anxiety-filled. If you don’t get your way immediately, blow it all up, right?
  13. Uh, the Canes could very well win another championship this year.
  14. I would not want the Panthers to shell out $30-35M for Mayfield…or any other QB for that matter. QB contract numbers have become ridiculous. 1/6 to 1/5 of your entire salary cap for one player? No thanks. Way too many roster spots to fill to spend that much on one player, regardless of the fact that it is QB. Check Brady’s career contract numbers on spotrac. He’s always taken less money, which allows his team to spend in other areas. This is proof of a world in which QBs get insanely wealthy yet still allow their organizations to build complete teams. I like that model.
  15. It’s also a situation of Perryman having more opportunities for tackles. Through three games, Raiders’ opponents are averaging approximately 16 more plays per game than Panthers’ opponents.
  16. Four yards longer, and the Panthers were working with a kicker kicking his first ever field goals in a meaningful NFL game. The kick would have been longer (54 versus 50), which would make it harder. However, according to data from 2014-2018 available in a quick Google search, the percentage for making field goals between 50-53 yards was about 69%, whereas the percentage for making a field goal between 54-57 yards is 60%. Much of the chatter here has been about kicking the field goal vice going for it. Based upon that, the distance needed for the first down is irrelevant. The only relevant factor is the length of the field goal. Here, both coaches chose to play field position.
  17. Did you all know that Bill Belichick had his team punt from the MIA 37 yard line on the opening drive of the NE-MIA game this weekend? Granted it was 4th and 17, but he still opted for the punt/field position over a possible three points. I know we all hate the Patriots, but Rhule made essentially the same decision that a six-time Super Bowl winning coach made. You know what? You’re right (from your couch/office chair/recliner). Rhule SUCKS!!!
  18. And he stayed on the ground for several seconds. Seems like an obvious time for the concussion personnel to make him come out to get evaluated.
  19. The more negative message (for anyone) is a sense that you can never be more than the worst thing you’ve ever done … or allegedly done in this case.
  20. Don’t forget, this stat line would be over 17 games as opposed to 16 in the past. This would require an average of about 235 YPG, approximately 1.5 TDs per game, and less than 1 INT per game. If Darnold can put up these numbers, I think the QB issue is solved for a few years. However, over a 17-game season, I’d like to see more TDs.
  21. I don’t ordinarily care. I do this year solely because I plan to take my boys to the game in Houston, as we currently live in San Antonio.
