This fanbase has put Steve Wilks up on a crazy high pedestal. He's completely average as a coach and it has been proven time and time again. You could do worse but you could certainly do better.

That's pretty much the exact opposite of what I've heard from people with direct ties. Dan was the only one willing to voice his opinion when he didn't agree with something. From what I've been told he was nearly the only one in the building outside of McCown who wanted Stroud over Young. Fitterer, Reich and Brown were all-in on Young and sold the idea to Tepper.

My sources have told me nobody is willing to coach this team and therefore playcalling duties will be left up to AI. As far as game planning and practice goes I was told it will be "left up to the few players willing to play to get themselves ready as they see fit." I'm also told all concessions will be closed at BOA and vending machines put in place due to the fact that NOBODY is willing to work for this organization. We moved to turf because groundskeepers were unwilling to work anymore and Tepper wouldn't commit to mowing the field himself.

Sink or swim with Bryce. Either he shows enough improvement to make us think we have our guy or he fails and we have a great pick to try again.

I'm so envious of how the Texans made such a HUGE turnaround in a single off-season. Every part of their team is leagues better than ours.

The amount of YAC the Texan receivers get makes me jealous.

I'd argue coaching is making a huge difference as well.

I wanted Stroud too but it's not hard to see that he has a significantly better team around him.

He will (and should) get another season but if things aren't improving odds are we'll be moving on.

I'll give him another year with (hopefully) good coaching a a real GM to put some talent around him. If he's looking the same midway through next season I think it's safe to say we have to move on.

I don't buy that at all. The line was terrible when Dalton was in there as well. The problem is we're running an offense that plays to the exact opposite of what our linemen are (were) good at.
