  1. I think that's understating the playmaking ability of guys like Hill but yes, no question that an elite QB makes a world of difference. This game doesn't happen without both of those guys. Reid may have unlocked Mahomes but I don't know how you say that given all of the plays that Mahomes has singlehandedly create over the years. If anything he's an example of what elite talent in an undeveloped package can accomplish with proper coaching, much like Allen in Buffalo.
  2. Everything that Matt Rhule is not.
  3. Exactly. There is no solid, universally-recognjzable (we just can't see it...) on-field-based evidence to give hope based on what Rhule has displayed the past 2 seasons. After 2020 there was at least the benefit of the doubt, but the clown doubled and tripled down on BS to ultimately produce a season that was worse than before. Anything is possible, for sure. At this point though many folks are just tired of the BS and see through the nonsense. Rhule is, to date, a hack and Tepper doesn't seem much better. Hope for the best, expect the real.
  4. Can't blame him in the slightest.
  5. Anyone here that didn't want Stafford... lol.
  6. Neither of them do, but unfortunately one of them will.
  7. Even took him like 6 tries to tuck his mouthpiece into his facemask.
  8. From a couple of days ago... I laughed
  9. Thought he showed plenty of ability and promise, like a more dynamic Jeff King; quality blocker, reliable hands, just finds ways to get open. Hopefully whoever runs the show next can maximize his blocking and receiving talents
  10. If the objective truly is winning then keeping Rhule for money reasons is looking like a major 'penny wise, pound foolish' approach if the money is indeed a bug factor. Plus, it's no one's fault but Tepper's for giving that contract in the first place. If the money is indeed a large factor he should swallow the bitter pill, cut the sunk cost, and move on.
  11. The offensive ineptitude and turnovers definitely skewed the yards allowed stats. The defense faded hard once Dallas exposed the weakness in the running game and Carolina couldn't stop anyone as the season went along, allowing 27 or more points 7 times in the last 8 games (only the Taysom Hill-led Saints scored fewer...), more than 30 points in 6 of those 7 and more than 40 in the final game.
  12. Of all the O positions to suck at, center ain't it. Agreed that it's tough to fully judge since OL is so reliant on each other but Elflein is just not very good, and without star guards next to him should definitively be in line for replacement.
  13. To paraphrase, "We lost more games in the NFL because of poor technique, than poor scheme" was a really interesting comment.
  14. If Tepper needed Colbert to tell him Rhule is currently a hack at the NFL level, in the infinite wisdom of Brandon 'Donald' LaFell, "ooh wee mayne." I have no idea how Tepper watches other NFL teams, particularly like what we've seen this weekend, and feels any kind of good about Matt Rhule.
  15. About to? I'd say it's already there.
  16. God I hate the Cowboys. Not the same type of hatred as for the Saints and Falcons, but hatred nonetheless.
  17. He's going to have some more growing pains but the guy just gives off gamer vibes and passes the eye test thus far.
  18. Damn... how long has it been since we saw safety play like that in Carolina?
