Ball was already long gone before he peeled off. Must have had no idea it was thrown but he was running with that receiver when Willis threw it. Lucky outcome or not, the throw was on the money though.
-
Wth was that corner doing peeling under that late after the throw? Willis got pretty lucky there.
-
Sure, but that was a classic Rivera 8-8 team that stumbled into being 6-2 at the halfway point. Cam didn't notably fall off until week 14 and during that time they regressed to the mean and showed what they actually were. The whole '6-2' thing is just not what it seemed.
-
That 6-2 was built on a pillar of sand, requiring a Dallas meltdown, record field goal vs NY, and complete Eagles choke job to get there. That team was an extremely lucky 6-2 and the rest of the season thereafter was a more accurate representation, though a few breaks went against Carolina in those losses as well.

He still failed to address the question in any way. Having guys that like each other and that 'fot the culture' is great and grand but doesn't amount to jack if the culture' doesn't equate to winning games... to date, Rhule has proven wholly ineffective in that key area. That's the litmus test.

Sounds like a pretty rational take until proven otherwise. Been years of big talk... prove it. Words mean next to nothing at this point.
-
Yup. He may not be worse at this point but he sure isn't any better.
-
Sure would've been great to see Brady play LT for the last part of last year since that's his natural and best position. Alas though, in Rhule's infinite wisdom...
-
It wouldn't have hurt but Denver had 194 total yards of offense. Their defense, Rivera and Shula's ineptitude, and the officials if you're so inclined to add them, won that game for them.

Peyton's 13 of 23 for 141 yards and an interception were not the issue with that Super Bowl.

This camera angle stuff is just utter trash. Might feel differently if they supplied actual football viewing angles with it but alas, the NFL seems determined not to.

Jimmy Clausen catches a lot of flack amongst Panther fans but, while he was an objectively bad QB, the man handled the situational raw deal Carolina handed him with the utmost professionalism and deserves a ton of credit for that. There are a lot of similarities between their situations.
-
One might say that it reached the played-out stage ahead of schedule.

Players sure liked Hurney, too.

Forgive me if I don't.

I figured they would appeal anything less than a season if only for the perception that they care.

Corral wasn't the first one out there? Cut his ass now.

Seems kind of inaccurate to have Hurts and Jones outside of the 'Too early' category but include the other first and second year QBs.
-
Not all the time of course, but because there are plenty of times where he is just rambling and seems to be talking for the sake of talking. Examples like that interview where the interviewer asked him about the top 3 keys to 'the process' and he just spouted drivel, the end of season 'it's working, you just cam't see it' conference, etc. Belichick rarely, if ever, seems to say something pointless.
-
I don't think Rhule does it on purpose though like Belichick does, at least not all the time.

What a weird route and throw, slowed way down after beating Henderson and was looking back over the inside shoulder while running to the flag (ish).

What a dumbass.
