[Yates] Carolina has signed G Michael Jordan

OL isn't quite the wasteland that safety is when it comes to historical perfomrance, but it's not far off. Really kind of astounding how few consistent standouts there have been in nearly 30 years and even fewer that Carolina actually drafted themselves.

This play right here soured me on Erving, let alone the rest of that season's play. Spolier: it's the Atlanta play where he loafed and let a guy run right by him to blow up Sam.
-
Deon Grant over both Godfrey and Cota. If we're talking peak, tough to leave Otah off the list... dude was a monster when he played. Looks pretty good overall though.
-
I kind of get it... am still compelled though.

Agreed, and this observation on Yannick (as a singular example) is one of the reasons I find the NFL much more interesting than college football - being able to see how players perform in different places, systems, and roles. This is happening more in CFB now with the transfer portal (though I still don't find it interesting) but it's always been compelling to me to watch and follow, with an eye towards the impact on resource allocation for NFL teams.

Maybe more pedigree than nepotism, though anything is possible.

On the contrary, the first potential outcome of the trade was just revealed last week via the draft and it will remain relevant through at least 2025 when that last Rams pick would have happened. You and posters/fans like you are the ones who need to grow up and deal with the objective reality of that fact, not those who wish to discuss and analyze.
-
Doubters of what exactly? It's a fork-in-the-road type of decision that will have a big impact, good or bad, for many years. Perfectly reasonable to discuss, just like the trade to #1. These 'hater' and 'doubter' junk is lame. Making the hard decisions is a part of football and being unwilling to handle discussing them as such is weak.

Where have I denied their existence and how does their existence mean that there is more support for them that Burns, who has not been on the team since 2013? You keep moving the goalposts when you should perhaps just take the L on this one and refine your overall position.
-
I didn't take up for anyone, just responded to a comment. And I fail to see how negative comments about Burns, whether truly negative or only perceived as negative, equate to fandom of Brady and/or Brees.

He's not the one making the claim. Burden for that falls to you.

My wife and I were travelling to Hawaii for our honeymoon when this game took place. I was greeted with this glorious highlight upon landing... great start to our time there. Also, Dwayne Jarrett sighting.

Person: Tepper indicates he's learning and changing his approach
KSpan replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Hanging on to Rivera and Hurney too long, moving to turf, letting the 'Keep Pounding' chant disappear for a bit (even if only passively)... it's been ugly. It's nice to hear this from him though and hopefully the words continue to drive actions and positive results. -
Who is that with Smitty?
-
Not surprising. I fully expect Brown to be picked up.
-
If he was willing to come in dirt cheap it would be a nice boost to the run defense, but he won't, so absolutely not.
-
Would prefer to just see him wrap up and drive rather than just busy out that last shove, but I like the attitude there.

Colts taking Will Levis in the 2nd after drafting AR15?
KSpan replied to TheWiz's topic in Carolina Panthers
Closest I can think of was Washington with RG3 in the 1st and Cousins in the 4th. Would definitely be interesting to see Indy go this route. -
Dave Tepper has become a major asset for the Panthers
KSpan replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
But Tepper's an asset now, so he must be right. -

Almost like I noted in my original post quoted above... weird. Since when does being objective automatically mean being unhappy? It's certainly not the case for me. -

Talk is cheap. Results are paramount. Looks promising, but means nothing yet. It's really that simple.
