  1. Led to Carolina drafting Thomas Davis, aka the Vick Killer. Worth it, though that SNF game in 2004 where Carolina lost in OT still Burns me.
  2. In Bryce's defense (sort of), Carolina has a long and stories history of making backups look like All-Pros.
  3. He'd probably be getting more, as expectations would be even higher if he had ideal physical traits.
  4. November 2002... Atlanta shut Carolina out twice in 2002.
  5. And tries to pick it up instead of just diving on it.
  6. I hope the 'off-platform' buzzword dies a horrible death.
  7. There was nowhere else to really go on that one, maybe somebody on that short backside slant-type.route. Looked Reich-esque.
  8. Low and away is 'in the bread basket' now? Interesting. I'm not even all that picky about that throw - it was the mi ssed TD throw that changed the course of that drive.
  9. Wasn't great, no. But on a 4th down he has to chuck it somewhere. That diving drop before it was on the money though.
  10. Chark... oy. As our receivers coach used to scream at us, 'You make just one of those catches and you're a superstar! Instead, you just left crap out there.'
  11. Yup. Better placement and that's a walk-in TD. NFL receiver should still make that catch though.
  12. First 1st down since the opening drive... good god.
  13. Burns being the most visible and active that he's been in many weeks.
  14. Wasn't even worth it then, just had a sucker willing to pay. Only takes one though.
  15. Probably figured Beathard was going to slide. Tough to fault defenders for tiptoeing around QBs these days, but it is a pretty bad look.
  16. Fitting that Carolina pulled busted out these pants vs the Jaguars...
  17. Nice play by Burns there. Fittingly for this team as a whole this year, comes up limping.
  18. And that is what Jeremy Chinn does well, be around the LOS and hunt the ball. Tough to do all the time though.
  19. Piling on... WTF are these uniforms? Trying way too hard.
  20. Exactly. No one rational would argue that Burns isn't a quality player. He's just not a game-changer, and if he were it would show up at some point regardless of number of chances. If it did then it may warrant game-changer money... however, in 5 years, it never has.
  21. Nah, but that's quite the blunder costing them the points.
