Which is not a particularly high bar in and of itself.

Since Ruble's dumb ass was bent on getting rid of Cam anyway, If only Carolina would have brought Jameis in back in 2020 instead of Bridgewater... Not saying it would have yielded any more wins, but it sure would have been more entertaining.

Bryce Young is a problem — what would you do if you were Dan Morgan?
KSpan replied to OldhamA's topic in Carolina Panthers
Do you not remember how quickly the tone of the player interviews changed that first week Bryce was benched last year? Players are still people too - they can respect their teammates and still be irritated at poor performance. Not mutually exclusive. -
Jared Feinberg's Panthers v Jaguars film review
KSpan replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Oh good lord, it's Cover 1 Robber - no need to make it sound like anything revolutionary. Legette was drifting deep rather than coming straight across (bad route running by him), and the safety was already driving up when Bryce chose to throw the ball. To the Jags credit this is exactly the type of play you call robber against (see comments about them reading Canales like a book) but between the predictable call and the crappy execution by both XL and Bryce this was as much on Carolina as it was Jacksonville making a great play. -
Jared Feinberg's Panthers v Jaguars film review

Fascinating that the Jaguars appeared fully prepared and able to anticipate what Carolina would do on both sides on the ball in week 1 of a brand new season. -

They may very well have mentioned that option during negotiations. Who knows how it all went down.
-
Could be referring to Carolina's brain-numbingly dumb handling of the Burns situation. That would be the reverse of that quoted comment, which was referring to Green Bay.

Mingo's rookie year, played 1 fewer game than XL, with Chark and Thielen in a much worse offensive scheme 43 receptions (on 85 targets, Legette had 84) 418 yds 0 TDs Just sayin'.
-
I'll say it - underthrown. Easy uncontested TD in the back corner but instead Legette had to slow up and make a great play to get it. I'll also say that it's a single throw in a random practice and I have paid absolutely zero attention to anything Panthers related in the past several months so my comment on this play is just that - a comment on this play and this play only. For all I know that might have been the worst throw of camp and whoever threw it (I assume Bryce) has looked like the second coming of whatever QB one may feel is the greatest of all time with every other throw.

no fan fest thread and no videos from fan fest, even on twitter?

I'll add that the Huddle is just collateral damage - I find myself damn near indifferent if almost wholly disinterested in the NFL as a whole. Tepper's gross mismanagement from 2018-2023 pretty much killed my passion for the Pantehrs and the NFL getting in bed with gambling and Fanduel/Draftkings/MGM/whatever the f else is out there being shoved in our faces constantly has been an absolute turnoff. Put those alongside the massive chokehold that teams have placed on things like video, primarily only putting out those dumbass slow-motion zoomed videos with awful music where you can't see crap, and... well... -
Eh, preseason games definitely do count to some degree. Really need to look like a competent team at times in preseason games. I'll agree about the camp practices though, and JJ spelled it out nicely.

That was Marvin McNutt's legendary catch. Final answer.

Who is 'we'?

Depends heavily on the extent of the damage. Many meniscus tears are simply a cleanup and couple of week recovery process, so the fact that he was out for the entire year and still recovering seemingly points to it being a very serious injury. Perhaps he actually tore it loose from the bone and didn't just damage the tissue itself. I've no idea if this is what he had done but knee cartilage damage is exactly the scenario where they do microfracture surgery. If that's what he had, again noting that I'm simply talking in hypothetical with no indication that he actually had it, then that could definitely prolong a recovery as well.
