Eh, I think if it was there it would have shown up at some point. I honesetly can't rmemeber a single remarkable play that Burns has made in his 5 years. Overall we're on the same page though. At this point all we can do as fans is sit and watch this unfold, even though it should have been resolved years ago.

People are dumb and reactionary, but Burns has been the exact same player since he came in. 5 years of the exact same film doesn't lie. Again, I'm not in the 'Burns sucks' camp, but rather the 'Burns isn't worth elite money' camp. He is clearly a quality player, just not a game-changer.

Brown has been showing consistent elite flashes against the best OL in the NFL since day 1 and exploded in this scheme. Burns has never done that. He's good, but they are not comparable

He didn't have a 'down year'. He had exactly the same year as he's had 4 of his 5 seasons; 2022 was the outlier. That's the type of player he is.
