I'm not able to watch today but sounds (and looks from Chuba's stats) like Bryce/passing wasn't even really needed, and yet here the team is. Does he not trust anyone on the offense?

Yup, it's definitely the refs that are the problem with this Carolina team.

I don't think anyone here thinks Jones is a quality QB, and he and Bryce are probably about the same level in terms of effectiveness though Jones has infinitely better physical tools. Jones had an outlier year that got him paid and has since returned to exactly what he was before that.

The realty is that Bryce's improvement puts him back about where he was last year, and even steps beyond that only gets into low-end starter territory. Feel good for him? Sure, I guess. Feel good for the team? Still not anywhere near good enough in the long run and need to see it continue week in and out for the rest of the season. At the end of the year, if the improvement continues and consistency is starting to show, then perhaps that is worth feeling good about.

Didn't look multiple places like he does without them. Many QBs benefit when they don't get tunnel vision.

Yup. Chuba has already shown enough to get re-signed before this season started. His continued improvement is just icing on the cake (and dollars on the cap).

I don't even have a real opinion one way or another here but if NO intercepts that ball, perhaps your comment applies as well. Point being that an unimpressed take on a game won by the margins is just as valid.

Would've liked to see it on the outside shoulder where the defender isn't, particularly given the room that Legette had between him and the sideline, but while that's a bit of nitpicking it would have precluded this outcome. Also nitpicking in that he could have settled his feet and didn't have to keep moving, but even with those it was a quality throw and the DB made a great play.

Looks like a leg tweak and he may have though Williams was out of bounds/imminently out of bounds. Not going to the whistle either way though.
