This is cool. I'd love to see billboards like this in the States

Unless they managed to extend the screen beyond where the frame appears, that looks fake since the dragon and its shadow are consistently going beyond the edge. -

It's been 2+ years of it now and we've seen it time after time. You would even think that just sheer luck would bring a win, but here we are. Rhule just doesn't have it.
-
Exactly. Bit of apples and oranges here.
-
Just wait cuz Rhule is really awesome in year three
KSpan replied to mc52beast's topic in Carolina Panthers
This 'Year 3 jump' stuff was always crap anyway, as his teams always tracked whatever they did from year 1 to year 2 and continued into year 3. He was never anywhere long enough to truly establish that he could maintain a program and never beat anyone ranked/that mattered... the hiring has always been ahead-scratcher to anyone with common sense regardless of if he was a media darling/hot new name/whatever. Only 2 games into the season so there's always time for a miraculous turnaround, but I think we all know what the odds of that are. -

That usage of Chinn is just mind-boggling. What a waste.
-
I don't. Rhule ain't it but Ron had to go. Unfortunately though, who knows if Rhule's replacement will be better (whenever that is).
-
I just mean something so egregious that he has to go immediately. Continued incompetence may not meet that threshold.
-
What a moron move by that safety. He got away with it but just run the ball in instead of showboating and almost pulling a Desean Jackson.
-
He's not getting fired and if he is, barring something Urban-like it won't be until much, much later in the season. It is what it is.

The Dolphins beat the Ravens today. Your argument is invalid.

Gifs to represent our feelings on the Panthers right now.

Oh look, Rhule appears confused. Who could have guessed. -

Not sure I agree with you fully on the veteran retention point (Done, DJ, etc) but maybe those are the younger players you reference. Otherwise, i pretty much agree with you on the rest. Even with my lack of faith in Rhule taking this all at face value is a very tough sell, but it's awfully specific and most isn't much of a reach from what we see on Sundays. Truth to any individual bit would be bad enough but if all of it was somehow true... dang.

Person says the Panthers will win this one

Fair enough. I can respect the honesty and recognition of reality that accompanies the wishful thinking. -

Based on what? No new personnel, same DC that we've seen get gashed by the run for years now... signs do not point to such a conclusion. -
What would be the point of firing him at any point before Week 15 or so, assuming Tepper was even willing to do so? Rhule's here and we're stuck on this ride until the season ends... it is what it is.

Any time I see a play like this it flashes me back to the utter BS 'forward motion' overrule when Schultz fumbled against Carolina last year vs Dallas.
-
If that's the case then yeah, Ellis is doing a disservice by framing a quote like that. I posted my thought but if your context is correct, that does change the frame.
