  1. It's not like he was on there to talk just QBs, or at least it doesn't seem that way. I really don't care either way though - just funny discussions around college players this time of year. We'll see what happens on draft night.
  2. I'm not saying he's lying or anything but what else is he really going to say? Luke is not going to talk bad about anyone.
  3. But what if it's Stroud or Young?
  4. Thanks to this thread, I learned there is an actual person named 'Bumper Pool'.
  5. If everyone is lying, then telling the truth becomes the ultimate deception.
  6. Been getting the student discount these past years and that makes even $250 feel steep, especially since I can only actually watch like 5 games a year.
  7. Absolutely. If the team feels both QBs are workable and more or less equivalent, take the picks and run.
  8. I recall the early(ish) days of social media as fun and fairly lighthearted, circa 2000 -2007. However, that was when FB started with ads, and it's been all downhill from there.
  9. If it's not a bit component of the offense and/or they feel the other traits are better, why not? Every player has strengths and weaknesses, just a matter of picking the most workable combo thereof. For the record I am completely neutral between the two QBs being discussed here.
  10. The other coaches are in no way relevant because Ron was/is objectively mediocre on his own, full stop. Dude rode elite talent in Cam and Luke and would have been nowhere without them. It is what it is. Also, Fox was closer to winning the Super Bowl and made it to the NFCCG in 2005 as well. More success than Ron.
  11. Which has zero relevance to anything in this conversation.
  12. That overall look is the definition of 'trying too hard'.
  13. We doing domestic abuser defensive ends again?
  14. It can be, and is, deficiency on the part of all parties named. Ron is a great human being who is a talented-but-flawed coach that nets out to average. It is what it is.
  15. I mean, if some random anonymous college "decision-maker" possibly said it then it has to be true.
  16. Some things aren't complicated though. For example, watching Chinn as a rookie and then as a safety these past two years clearly shows what his strengths are. Comparing those strengths with what positions such as 3-4 LBs, as one example, are required to do (take on tackles on the edge, shed linemen head on/sift through trash in the middle) makes it pretty easy to see that such a role (LB) likely wouldn't be his forte. Chinn exceled in space as a 4-3 WLB/Joker/SS type role as players like TD did before him, with TD being a great 4-3 WLB/nickel sub-LB after he gained some weight. If this defense can use him that way then excellent.
