  1. Third time if you want to count that historically bad performance in the season opener, which I think is fair.
  2. Dude was so far offsides that it's not even funny. Not a petty call at all - Toney's a dumbass. There is no easier thing to do than line up onsides as a receiver.
  3. It was worse because he is/was a known commodity and that deal was an absolute windfall. At least with Bryce there was some small iota of hope and potential.
  4. On the contrary, it will be so easy to make a positive impression and look competent.
  5. I enjoyed them running roughshod over the Broncos that year.
  6. Keary Colbert had a very nice rookie year and then... nothing.
  7. Take a shot every time Bryce misses ball down field.
  8. Derrick Brown is who Brian Burns thinks he should be paid like.
  9. Hurr durr, they ruled Lucas didn't touch the ball, which made the contact roughing. Shouldn't have been roughing since he clearly touched it. Better know what you're talking about if you're running your mouth. https://www.deseret.com/2005/12/25/19929717/panther-penalty-gives-dallas-new-life CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Ken Lucas and Julius Peppers pushed through the line, grasping at air in an effort to block Billy Cundiff's field goal. Lucas was positive his left middle finger touched the ball right before he and Peppers crashed into the kicker. The deflection changed the trajectory, caused Cundiff's attempt to miss and locked up a postseason berth for the Carolina Panthers. The officials said otherwise. Peppers was called for roughing the kicker, giving the Dallas Cowboys a second chance to keep their fading playoff hopes alive.
  10. Left side wide open... let's go straight into the pile, Sanders-style.
  11. No you don't, because that's not the rule. It's been this way forever.
  12. Because he blocked the punt/made contact with the ball. There are no protections at that point.
  13. Mingo with another crappy route, drifting upfield. Is anyone actually coaching these players? And then a blocked punt. Lolz.
  14. Both things can be, and definitely are, true. The issues compound each other.
  15. Interesting rule there with the rugby-style kick. Haven't ever heard that discussed in-game.
  16. And then the receivers let him down when the ball is there. Just ugly all around.
  17. From anyone but Brown, yeah. That TD was between Tuttle and Gross-Matos, with the Saints letting Brown penetrate upfield to take himself out of the play.
  18. That's a route you throw over the outside shoulder, you know, where the defender isn't. Tell me you're a football moron without telling me you're a football moron. No it's not, it's a great catch made on an underthrown pass. Has nothing to do with the defense.
  19. Or paying more than cursory attention at all, really.
