Had all of those in 2010 minus Olsen and we all saw how that went, so I assume you mean a competent QB as well.

His constant complaining/throwing his arms up for flags is a bit of an eye-roll but no question he shows up every Sunday ready to play hard. Either by design or Bryce just trusting him, the passing offense runs enitrely through Thielen.

Observer: Is it time for Panthers to go to Andy Dalton?
KSpan replied to Dorian Gray's topic in Carolina Panthers
The time to go to Andy Dalton was 2020 (once the poor decision was made to move on from Cam) or 2021. It's just been one QB blunder after another getting the team to this point. -
SF just ran literally the exact same flea flicker that Detroit ran vs Carolina and got the same result, a TE TD.

Because it was already clear that Reich is a meh coach, that Bryce had a steep learning curve to travel as a rookie with limited physical tools to do it, that they downgraded at receiver, and that the defensive personnel were not in place for the new scheme. I took a lot of grief for pointing this all out and overall I was right, but I most certainly did not expect this level of ineptitude. It unfortunately became clear during preseason that things were much worse than 'average.'
-
But I was told that Carolina's defensive talent was better than Denver's, so Evero would be able to work Top 5 magic.
-
Yeah, but the velocity and timing was nice to see.
-
Bryce finally showing a little bit of arm.
-
And Campbell taking Reich to school after the TO.
-
Bryce's arm has zero pop to it. This is just sad.
-
Weak throw that was late.
-
And now Dalton on the sneak... Jesus Christ. Pathetic.
-
This is such a boring, predictable offense.

Yeah, sorry man. Burns disappearing and not making big plays when it counts is the reality. He is a very good pass rusher but his effectiveness and value is not top-tier.
-
Yes, that would seem to be a big flag. Reminds me of the conversations last year regarding the RB positioning in the backfield and it being a run.
-
But he distributes the ball to people with routes...
-
Nah. DJ has been a spark and playmaker of the offense for years, kind of like how Cam dragged the offense kicking and screaming. Burns is not that, at least not commensurate with the money he is asking for.
-
Eh, I'd put Jefferson, Hill, Chase, Adams, McLaurin, Kupp, Evans, AJ Brown, Metcalf, Deebo, and Allen over him off the top of my head. That's not a slight in DJ at all though, as there is a ton of receiver talent in the NFL these days.
-
Is DJ Moore a Top 10 NFL receiver? Probably not. Is he a Top 25, if not 20, receiver? Absolutely. Carolina makes some really, really dumb decisions.

Standard operating procedure for a Rivera team playing in prime time.

The impressive throw you wanted from Bryce..but didn't get
KSpan replied to PanthersGOATFan336's topic in Carolina Panthers
Man, that very first play had a receiver (Chark) running free just deeper than Thielen. Bryce puts that deep enough and no one else is getting near that. -

These articles/takes (both positive and negative) are hilarious. Reminds me of Marvin McNutt and the greatest incompletion ever. -

Almost like this is a situation where arm strength would come into play, the ability to throw 'off platform' as the buzzword currently is. I don't disagree with any of your second paragraph but Bryce's play is not NFL level right now. It is what it is. -
That you, SizzleBuzz?
