Listened to the conference myself out of curiosity and more endless 'we' when talking about failures, even saying 'we missed some throws' like the entire team was throwing passes... true leadership right there. Might be a great guy off the field but dude's a loser on it.
-
Brady had a couple head-scratchers today but seemed to stop getting cute in the second half and figure out to just keep doing what was working.
-
My brother lives in Denver and told me his post game response when asked was that he was thinking he'd turn him back in for someone else to make the tackle...
-
Elflein looked pretty good and the OL as a whole was a couple steps above hot garbage. Improvement.
-
Since you mention maturation, I feel like this time away from Carolina and series of events may have been a net positive for Cam and helped him become a player he might not have otherwise been. It was still an utterly dumb move to drop him in the first place as they did, but what's done is done and everyone may luckily be better off at this point for it.

What is Sam thinking right now?: GIFs only
KSpan replied to bLACKpANTHER's topic in Carolina Panthers
Eh, no need to pile on the guy. He pretty clearly gave his all to the team and it just isn't good enough. -
Might not be too liked after that utterly pathetic effort on Slay's fumble return today. 14-point swing there that very well may have cost Denver the game. Not feeling too responsible for tackling I suppose.

God that looked effortless. Accuracy will come.

I keep seeing Simmons' yellow shoes and thinking flags are down.
-
Now the rubber meets the road. Arizona spotted us 10, so keep building that lead and grind them down.
-
Been thrashing them going right up the middle on the ground and in the air... let's go sideways... Brady outsmarting himself. Just keep the damn ball moving.
-
Here come the flags... can't have the Panthers beating up too much on the Golden boy Cardinals.
-
Cam falling apart in 2018 and 2019, spineless Teddy last year, Sam quickly tailspinning this year... even if this doesn't last, it's such a welcome breath of fresh air.

You are correct. History repeats itself.

Indubitably.

Foot twist being intentional or not, it was crystal clear that he intentionally tripped Burns and took him down with that leg sweep. Ridiculous.
-
Who defended him? I sure didn't, even stating that the Giants OC job may not even really count.
-
Shula was OC for the Giants in 2018 and 2019, but I'm not sure that r ally goes against your point. Now QB coach in Denver with Teddy, fittingly enough.
-
Majority of people are hopeful and happy Cam's back but I don't think expectations are unrealistic. Will he be better than what we've seen these past weeks, and will that be enough to win some games? Seems a reasonable assumption. Will he go into MVP mode and singlehandedly catapult the team to the top of the league? Most likely not. After a year of Timid Teddy and Sam crashing and burning, having someone with the guts and leadership of Cam is just a breath of fresh air. The familiarity and history with the team as well as the karma of getting him back after he was unceremoniously dumped is just the delicious icing on the cake

It's provocative, it gets the people going.

Tepper: Stop the Stadium from Being Overran on a Constant Basis
KSpan replied to Seltzer's topic in Carolina Panthers
It was the premise of the post I was responding to.
