  1. How is he most talented? He can run but he doesn't have the best accuracy or elite level processing. The latter is the most difficult to develop and some players (e.g. Darnold), never do.
  2. I think Young has elite level processing, no concerns there. But size is a big deal in the NFL, staying healthy is a challenge playing 17 games in a season. Being able to see routes over the top of 6'7 defensive linemen is a real challenge. Those things don't matter that much in college because you're not playing against elite defenders every single week.
  3. He has the tape, the arm, the mental processing. He has the highest floor and his potential is there too. Bryce Young is good but severely undersized. I think he can still play but would have to work out of a shotgun his entire career and avoid getting hit. AR 15 is a project - you can't waste a #1 pick on him, way too much risk based on what we gave up. I would have been fine with him at #9 but now that we traded up and have the pick of the litter, it would be idiotic not to draft Stroud. Everything else better be just smoke 'n' mirrors otherwise I will lose it if we don't select Stroud or Young.
  4. Maybe not but they won’t be able to pay Burrow, Chase AND Higgins. I also think Higgins wants to make a name for himself as an elite WR
  5. I would try to trade for Higgins this year. Use that second round pick and a future pick
  6. All we need is a step in the right direction. Next year is where we have cap space to build a championship roster
  7. I think the new coaching staff will get the most out of the roster and we’re not done yet. I still expect us to win the NFC South
  8. Just stay put and pick CJ or Young. Not that complicated.
  9. You're right, and normally I wouldn't care if it wasn't always quoted on this board by naive and gullible fans as some sort of gospel.
  10. I really wants us to go after Higgins. I'd trade for him this year if it were possible.
  11. Last year people hated him he was giving them an average of 8 pts per game. Terrible production for a WR1. He was a FLEX option at best.
  12. They will make some moves but I wouldn't expect us to have a true #1 until next year when we have more cap room
  13. hahaha now that would be some next level trolling if they did even when we pick #1 overall
  14. Is there any comparison in pre-snap reads, line protection adjustments or processing speed and progression
  15. This. They better have a conviction on one guy as the top choice otherwise we’re in trouble. It doesn’t mean the second choice is not good but you have the #1 pick, no need to settle
  16. Well we have to start over after the Rhule disaster. History is irrelevant
  17. DJ is solid not elite, which is the narrative right now.
  18. Yes - and that's why the overreaction to losing him. We have to move past our mediocre expectations, we can do better.
  19. You're totally missing the point. But I'm fine, it's time for Panthers to flip the narrative for the next decade.
  20. Oh no, how will we replace his 888 receiving yards!
