Made it clear today it’s something they believe in. With rumors that Stroud did poorly, I think it’s clear they are taking Young

Fitterer, Morgan, and the Brass having pressers tomorrow?

Not with Bryce directly, that doesn't mean they didn't tell someone else who told Bryce. -

I think they told Bryce's agent, through other channels, that he's the pick. -
What kind of topic is this? Are you trying to jinx him on purpose?

I was a Stroud guy but will be excited if we draft Young too -
He did, if we can believed that

Curious about Fitterer's options concerning trading Pick 39?

That's my concern as well. -

True you can never have enough OL depth on a cheap contract -

I am thinking CB or TE with this pick. -

Not a fan of trading down anymore. It’s awesome on draft day but in Fitt’s tenure it hasn’t really worked out. I would rather stick to 39 or even trade up if you have a first round grade on someone that falls. -
Problem with mentioning Russell Wilson is that he fell to the third round

But Bryce Young did good on a test...right??

Not sold on Fields yet -
Pick #39, don't hold your breath for a WR or TE

I think CB is the biggest need -
Albert Breer: Bryce Young scored 98 on his S2 teat

Exactly people comparing this to SAT is just dumb. It’s not an Intelligence test, it purely measures processing speed of your brain which you can’t learn or get better at, maybe marginally. -
Anthony Richardson “knocked” S2 cognitive test “out of the park”.
NAS replied to DFive's topic in Carolina Panthers
S2 test may seem laughable but I don’t think it’s something you can practice or get better at. Either your brain can process visual information quickly or it can’t. it’s encouraging for AR15 and his future development. He reminds me of Josh Allen, he was also raw but was in a good situation to develop. Does anyone know what CJ’s score is? -
Is that why they're not attending any of the dinners, pro days, interviews, etc.? It may be their final call, but you can bet your house that the Teppers will voice their opinions. While they may still say "decision is yours", if you're slightly leaning on a guy, and your boss has the opposite opinion, it may be enough to sway the decision.

Bryce Young -330 CJ Stroud +225 It was complete opposite just a week ago, but this coinides with the recent media rumors coming out about Nicole and David Tepper really being smitten by Bryce Young. I get the charisma and intangibles, but he doesn't have an elite physical quality over anyone else. And in the NFL, you have to have both. While Bryce Young may have better processing speed, CJ Stroud is not that far behind. Meanwhile, when it comes to physical traits (beyond just size), Stroud has the bigger arm and is more likely to be able to make the NFL throws required to get the ball in tighter windows.

Yeah - fair point. At this point I'm truly fine with either. I've gotten warmed up to the idea that it might be BY - so perhaps their strategy is actually working! LOL

Panthers may have some insider info that Texans want Bryce Young so the smoke is about getting them to give up a pick or two to move up to #1. That is the most likely scenario in all of this. Why would Panthers care if the fan base will be shocked or not. I'm pretty sure most will be excited anyway, no matter which of the two we pick. I still think it'll be CJ Stroud.

Which player do you think will benefit the most in the new scheme? Choose only one I actually think it will be Brian Burns. With his size and speed he will be more dominant in the pass rush coming off the edge. I predict more than 15 sacks this season.
