For what it’s worth Chiefs fans are bummed that they’re losing this guy. he has a ton of potential and looked amazing preseason -

Glad to see this, it tells me he wouldn’t have made it to us on the waiver wirr. We need speed and explosiveness at the position and the return game. Who gets cut, Shi Smith? -
Will you be doing it live?

On a positive note, he really liked our passing concepts even though they were vanilla and loved how he pointed out little things that Bryce does well.
-
We really need DJ Chark and TMJ back to get some separation. Mingo can be thrown open but don’t count on him for separation downfield.
-
No way - he can't justify that at all. I think he's going to recalculate what top 5 money means based on Bosa pushing the bar higher.

I'm surprised by this take, I think they've seen enough in camp to know he's going to be even better in a 3 - 4.
-
I think that’s the number he will expect and I don’t think we can afford to say no

It's been known that the Burns camp has been waiting to see what the numbers are for Nick Bosa before finalizing negotiations on an extension with the Panthers. Bosa is reported to be close to signing a deal of more than $30MM per year. Depending on how high it goes in the 30s it could impact the negotiations. My hope is that they could settle somewhere in the $28MM a year range given that Brian Burns is just a notch below Bosa in terms of production and ability. Thoughts?

Looks like Giants are planning to use him as a pass rusher. Looked decent tonight

Will Grier is about to be released

Exactly what I wanted to see last night. Bryce was able to operate an offense without having to run for his life although he showed tremendous ability to evade the rush and move both inside and outside the pocket while looking downfield. I think offensive line looked better and hopefully Ickey will not to stop moving his feet when he makes the initial block.

Despite having a respectable record with the Colts (41-35-1) with two playoff appearances and no legitimate franchise QB, I'm starting to wonder if there's a pattern with Frank Reich teams not being ready to play at the start of the season. In 5 years, he has 4 losses and a tie. 2018 Week 1: L to Bengals 2019 Week 1: Loss to Chargers 2020 Week 1: Loss to Jaguar 2021 Week 1: Loss to Seahawks 2022 Week 1: Tied with Texans 2023 Week 1? It seems to me his overall approach to camp is not that intense as well as his approach to preseason games. Coincidence?

Cam had the athleticism coming out of college but was also a Heisman trophy winner and the best player in college. Richardson looked like hot garbage at Florida on most days. Not saying he won't develop into a legitimate NFL quarterback, but comparing him to Cam Newton at this junction is just dumb and disrespectful to Cam.
-
Clearly he underachieved but the athletic potential is there. A 7th rounder is an equivalent of a bag of chips

Why weren’t we in on this deal? Surely Evero could have used him in a 3-4 scheme
-
I meant Zach Wilson

Chris Simms also told us Mart Corral and Trey Lance were the best QBs in their respective drafts. He only cares about size and having a big arm. No surprise since he sucked at processing when he was a pro. If it makes you feel any better he also thinks Drew Brees was massively overrated.

I think it’s fair to expect Bryce to have ups and downs as a rooke. It’s the expectations of the coaching staff that the rest of the team doesn’t make it worse.
