I could care less if he's "elite", that's a term that has become overused. There are only few true elite QBs in history and only 2 or 3 any given year. I want my QB to be competitive, competent, and give us a fighting chance to win every week. I think Bryce has shown promise he can do that consistently, can be clutch when the pressure is on. Now let's build a whole team around him instead of chasing "elite". He may never "justify" what Tepper gave up to trade for him but that's sunk cost and completely irrelevant as we evaluate our roster needs going forward.

It's a good thing they can lean on running game and Barkley but the Panthers and our #9 Grim Reaper have exposed yet another team. They'll be one and done in the playoffs. We are a few plays away from being 6-7 and in the hunt this year but just don’t have enough talent to finish these close games. Next year we will legitimately compete for division but that depends on injuries, our offseason draft and FA activities.
