U kidding me? I didn’t see any wounded ducks back there, if anything the deep attempts to TMJ and Mingo was evidence he can throw it deep on a rope when needed without too much air. If he comnects on just one of those your whole argument falls apart. Who has a weaker arm? Mac Jones, Tua, Brock Purdy, Jimmy G. to start?

Why Does Everyone Keep Calling This a Total Rebuild?
NAS replied to tukafan21's topic in Carolina Panthers
Well when some of us wanted us to tank last year when Rhule was fired, many crucified us but it would have allowed us to have a potential franchise QB without trading away future picks or assets like DJ Moore -
I think he is trying to keep his composure but there’s too much pressure being a #1 pick especially when a team gave up so much to get you. best thing that can be done is just give him time and let him develop.

HEAVENS TO BETSY, LOOK AT THESE WIDE-OPEN RECEIVERS

The TMJ one would have been a TD if he doesn’t slow down -
Every Bryce Young throw from his first NFL start. Looking back, it started very promising, he made some good reads and throws in the first half from the scripted plays. It seems when we had to go off script after the second half turnovers things fell apart.

You’re just trolling his size had no impact on his play and his arm looked strong.

And other QBs looked like hot garbage. Burrow was benched. Let’s judge Bryce at the end of the season
-
Yep he was hiding where Bryce couldn’t see him

Wow amazing observations lol -
Rookie QB is there to make mistakes. It would ruin his confidence more to bench him
-
No I think they should go into a game with ability to switch as needed. He is his OC there’s no shame in it
-
Not saying it is but sometimes you have to change it up when things aren’t working

It was tale of two halves for me. Wheels just fell off in the second half. Maybe Thomas should do the playcalling

Go watch your Patriots

Bryce Young looked poised but the game was a bit too fast at times, normal for a rookie. People forget Peyton Manning threw 28 interceptions. It looked like the safety was somehow hiding from Bryce’s vision on those interceptions. He will need to make sure he can work on always knowing where the safeties are and have no doubt he will. I thought his ability to lead the TD drive showed promise. Unfortunately playing from behind is almost impossible when you have no real receiving weapons. Offensive line looked better when not in obvious passing situations, should continue to get better. Chuba ran well and I think Sanders flashed as a receiver, I expect him to get better as he gets more playing time. Defense was really good, just wore down at the end but should keep us in most games. Special teams coverage looked really good. It’s the NFL, try to enjoy the ride.

Nobody was open. He mad two bad throws where he lost track of the safety. A rookie mistake he will be much better fron today’s experience. I was actually impressed by the arm strength on his two deep attempts. Excited to see what he can do with DJ Chark healthy

Should have been a rekick. Worst call -
It’s early, wait until they get tape on him. But the potential is unreal

The answer WAS on the roster and now he’s in SF

Can mods do anything about these reaction threads during the game? -
Tepper was supposed infatuated with a franchise QB

So you get this from one game? I wonder what Richardson would do with these receivers -
Hate to say it but he may be the steal of the draft
