  1. Sorry Cam, I was a big proponent of keeping you on the roster, but your shoulder can't last more than 4 games as evidenced last year. I pulled hard for you to succeed in NE but I think it's time to call it a career.
  2. I doubt it, Bellichick would never sign up for giving Teddy that much money.
  3. If I was Cam, I would have kicked that kid out of the event. That kid has a disgusting and disrespectful attitude.
  4. Spot on, turned out to be the right move for the Hornets. I'm excited what this team can do with one or two more pieces around Lamelo and Rozier.
  5. I was expecting an actual report with inside sources. Instead, just another opinion article. That said, maybe if more people talk about it in the media, it will help it come to fruition. I don't mind losing some draft picks, but I really don't want to let any of our best players go. I am now at the point where I am increasingly for either staying put at #8 or trading up to #5 to draft Lance.
  6. Cam has achieved a fulfilling career and a great role model for kids, meanwhile that kid will never be a professional, he may not even play football after high school. I would be embarrassed if I was his dad.
  7. Yes - another Watson thread “From what we have been told, the Dolphins generally have been discreet in their comments with outsiders about Deshaun Watson, usually shrugging it off when asked about their interest in the disgruntled Houston Texans quarterback. But according to a source with direct knowledge, a high-ranking team official has told at least one outsider that the Dolphins expect to be in the mix to acquire Watson if the Texans make him available (which they have not, to this point).” Read more here: https://www.miamiherald.com/sports/spt-columns-blogs/barry-jackson/article249161075.html#storylink=cpy
  8. I will hold off on any excitement until we trade Teddy, assuming that’s even possible
  9. Trade him to Denver for a bag of chips, just get out of that awful contract
  10. Former Panther, Torrey Smith chimes in on ESPN saying that it makes sense because of who Tepper is, a bold risk taker that made billions doing the same. http://www.espn.com/video/clip/_/id/30916887
  11. Classic example of Panthers paying someone for past performance
  12. I would have started Grier instead. PJ would possibly play better than Teddy
  13. Fair enough. In retrospect, I am glad it didn’t work out. Why would we want a QB who didn’t want to join us in the first place?
  14. Maybe not that close “What’s accurate is — and this is an incredible thing by [the Lions] — I asked to go to a team that was ready to win a championship,” Stafford said. “And, you know, there were a few teams on that list. There were a few teams that were not on that list. And they were respectful of that and understood completely. I had thoughts and reasons for each one of them.”
  15. That’s why the NBA is doing much better than the NFL
  16. Fair point, but I feel like the balance has been skewed against the players for so long it may take a bit of a pendulum swing the other way to eventually achieve the happy medium.
  17. With an increasing number of players forcing their way out of teams or demanding more input in personnel decisions, a real power shift seems to be happening that echoes what happened in NBA. I personally don't see it as a bad thing. Most NFL GMs are incompetent and get too much credit for the work they do to manage personnel. Franchise QBs like Deshaun Watson, Russell Wilson should have more input into head coaching and personnel hires because they've staked their long term future with the team. I think it will lead to more exciting trades and potentially faster rebuilds.
  18. Houston is going to be the worst team in the league for years to come
  19. Melo is well on track to be the NBA rookie of the year. Here is where he currently stands He currently leads all NBA rookies for total points, rebounds, assists, steals, double-doubles, triple-doubles and player efficiency rating (source: ESPN).
  20. This says more about poor scouting and evaluation than about reaching. If you believe your evaluation is correct and that player will not be available at your draft position, then it's not reaching. It's only reaching if they suck or they would have dropped anyway
  21. First Things First (@FTFonFS1) Tweeted: "The Eagles can probably get a single 2nd round pick for Carson Wentz. If someone offers them a 1st, they need to say yes & hang up. The idea that they are getting what you got for Jalen Ramsey for Carson Wentz is lunacy & will never happen." — @getnickwright https://t.co/4XWfn6gd67
  22. The market dictates what he's worth. There's going to be a feeding frenzy on QBs in this draft and sometimes you just need to overpay to get your man. He is #2 on my list after Lawrence, but it all depends on what Rhule and Fit think.
  23. Considering he never had elite QBs throwing to him most of his career should be taken into account. He should be a fist ballot HOF-er
  24. Anyone that thinks Lance will be there at #8 is delusional. He has the most upside of any QB outside of Lawrence. We'll need to at least trade up to #5.
