Becton was their worst player before the injury
-
After rewatching some of the red zone plays, I think play calling was fine, it’s the execution that needs to improve. The fumble would have been a walk-in TD by CMC as an example.
-
He is legit but will be lucky to survive behind that OL
-
I thought he played well, he is a baller. I think we had 3 of our draft picks on the field yesterday, two starters and I think Tremble made a huge block on the DJ Moore run.
-
Yet you wrote this pathetic nonsense on the Jets board trying to suck up
-
Saints vs. Panthers Current point spread: NO -3 Point total: 46.5 Moneyline: NO -165, CAR +145 Opening point spread: Saints -2 Opening point total: 47.5 source: draftkings Surprisingly low opening spread. It tells me Darnold’s performance today has made Vegas see us as a more competitive team than before.
-
Yeah he had a poor showing, nonfactor
-
I like CMC touching the ball a lot, he’s our best player and if he continues on this pace will be in the MVP conversation
-
Maybe because it was zone coverage? I wonder if that was on him or the safety?
-
Honestly they did a lot better than I expected, but Sam Darnold and CMC made them look better than the numbers indicate. They gave up 11 pressures but luckily Sam released the ball quickly and only gave up 1 sack as a result. Pat Elflein gave up 4 pressures himself. It’s hard to expect a high powered consistent offensive production if the offensive line doesn’t improve
-
Yes he did, that was the only reception he gave up and that was really good defense just a great throw

Impressive Week 1 performance Rookie Jaycee Horn was targeted three times and only gave up one catch for 10 yards. Donte Jackson was the only player in the secondary to allow multiple catches, as he gave up four for 58 yards on six targets. source: PFF

He’s a very young coach. He’ll get better
-
I wanted him to start but there must be something they’re seeing in practice that they don’t think he’s ready. But he should at least be on the active roster for depth
-
We know we should win but Vegas has us as only a 4 pt favorite which is a very small spread since we’re the home team
-
@Zodyou need to do something about this so callled moderator abusing his powers on this forum just because he doesn’t like someone’s opinion. This topic was not a s**tshow other than in his own mind, he actually is the one who derailed it. Pathetic.
-
It was totally fine, you’re the one getting triggered like a two year old
-
I think they’re a small minority and should just be ignored. But Cam is not above criticism and shouldn’t just be praised either
-
Rhule thinks he can fix Darnold, this will define his career one way or the other . At least he had the balls to take some risks. The safer play would have been to draft Fields and not have to deal with as much pressure this year as people are more understanding and patient with rookie QBs.

That is fair, but I think vaccination was probably the difference between Cam getting benched but retained as a backup vs. getting released. Of course, they'll never admit that in public.
-
I think it was a combination of both. If the Pats had prime Cam then lack of vaccination would have been an inconvenience they had to live with. With Mac progressing quickly in camp, they felt comfortable enough to roll with him and Cam's vaccination status was something that may have tipped the scales.
-
I have a feeling that's a convenient excuse.
-
Because it's in the Huddle Lounge like a non-football topic. Very disrespectful
-
So we can't talk about any former Panthers? Why is this getting moved??? We talk about Kuechly, Olsen, Smitty and all others. Why is Cam off limits? @Zodput an end to this nonsense.
