The deep-ish ball to DJ moore that drew PI….
NAS replied to electro's horse's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'm OK with that as long as he can throw 10 - 20 yards consistently and accurately. With NE last year he was throwing those in the dirt. -
That place has some good Pad Thai
-
It's time for Tepper to let Fitt have full control over personnel.

Yes - I remember posting a thread and still think that video was the most cringe thing he has ever done. I still don't think he can handle the load of being a starting QB, but he's on the team and will root for him to succeed and prove me wrong. I have always been a fan of Cam (never a hater) but that doesn't prevent me from being realistic and telling it like I see it. -
Wild Card? Hell - the way the Bucs are playing- the division is still up for grabs but we'll need to be near perfect to get it done.

Can He can still do it on occasion, not sure he'll be able to even attempt it in week 18. My biggest concern about Cam is his shoulder and whether it can hold up throwing 25 - 35 times a game. -
We just need Cam to be average and that should make us competitive with our defense. Unfortunately, what was supposed to be our easiest stretch on the schedule has been brutal so a playoff push is highly unlikely with our remaining strength of schedule. Let’s just hope this team can be fun again to watch on sundays

Fitterer says " We'll have to do something with Sam. "

Just cut your losses -
Agree, but I think he'll get one more year.

Tepper's only fault is that he DIDN'T MEDDLE. He's letting Rhule build the program but should have said "no go" on the Darnold trade.

We Picked Up Sam Darnold's 5th Year Option LMFAO
NAS replied to Castavar's topic in Carolina Panthers
That was a Rhule decision -
Does ANYONE think we win this game after that first half?
NAS replied to hepcat's topic in Carolina Panthers
No, the 2021 offense would give 2010 offense a run for their money. The field looks a mile long right now and Darnold stinks like Clausen -
Eye for an eye. Someone needs to take out Mac Jones for that. Old Testament style
-
PJ may approach 30% completion rate in this game.
-
They have a QB, we don’t. He’s not elite but is light years better than PJ.
-
If Sam can't go, I would much rather see what Morgan has than roll with PJ. I have frankly seen enough to know he's terrible. Does anyone know if Morgan is getting any real reps this week?

Can we get our second round pick back we gave up for Darnold?

Trade Deadline is Tomorrow, Who do we buy, who do we sell?
NAS replied to Ricky Spanish's topic in Carolina Panthers
We need a QB to legitimately compete with Darnold. Is there a Cooper Rush or Mike White out there somewhere? -
And then he would throw for 75 yards, maybe
-
Why can't they just pretend they're run blocking when they pass block, lol
-
I think Sam could have used of sitting behind someone for a year and really learning the playbook, working on his mechanics, and getting rid of the PTSD. Putting him behind this offensive line in a new scheme was the worst approach possible for a reclamation project.

Sam is cooked, it's time to move on.

https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/10/26/will-russell-wilson-make-one-last-run-at-getting-traded/ The Seahawks are sinking, with a 2-5 record only one year after going 12-4. The low point could come this weekend, if Seattle loses at home to the 1-5 Jaguars. (Seattle currently is favored by only three points.) Before the season, quarterback Russell Wilson rattled the cage about a possible trade. The effort culminated in his agent claiming in one breath that Wilson doesn’t want to be traded before saying in the next breath that Wilson would accept a trade to the Cowboys, Raiders, Bears, and Saints. Wilson eventually opted to love the one he’s with, given the possibility that the presence of a new offensive coordinator will take the team, which hasn’t been to the NFC Championship for seven years, to the next level. That hasn’t happened, with concerns spreading this year to the defense, too. Wilson’s absence due to a finger injury has made things worse. Given, however, that the absence of Wilson apparently has made coach Pete Carroll appreciate his quarterback even more, the team likely becomes even less inclined to move him. Whether they will or won’t is a different question from whether he’ll try. Wilson is keenly aware of his legacy. He wants to win Super Bowls. The Seahawks seem to be a long way from contending for another one. If he’s going to make another play to get out after what quickly is becoming a lost season, why not make the play now? Think of what he’d do with a team like the Saints, one of the four teams his agent mentioned in the offseason. Or how about the Browns, whose biggest question mark could be at the most important position on the team? We’ll likely never know if Wilson’s agent makes one last behind-the-scenes run at making a trade happen, unless it progresses to actual trade talks. Given the issues from earlier this year and the strong possibility that he will make another play for a new team after the season, there are plenty of reasons for him to consider the possibility of making the jump to a new team in time to try to get back to the Super Bowl and win it, this year.
