  1. I like these guys and they’re spot on.
  2. It doesn’t help that offensive line is allowed to hold on almost every play in pass protection, not being able to hit receivers when they’re “defenseless”, bullshit defensive holding and PI calls.
  3. My lack of belief in Rhule has nothing to do with the roster or even who plays QB. It’s about his inability to develop players, atrocious game planning and game management, dishonesty and lack of respect he has for his players, and the culture of accountability that he hasn’t been able to instill, because he is ironically the least accountable. If he won just one more game but he showed command of these areas, I would actually give him a pass. I hope he proves me wrong but if he doesn’t learn from his mistakes and starts throwing people under the bus, he should be canned after this year.
  4. You suck at polls. Why not just do a range of 4 or 5 choices instead of 13!
  5. Rhule at yesterday’s press conference when asked about the Sean Peyton report “With regards to that report, first I heard of it was Dave called me and told me that it was going to come out,” Rhule said. “They had called him, that there was nothing to it. I know Dave Tepper well enough to believe he wouldn’t be talking to another coach right now. He came to my house two-and-a-half years ago and told me this is a five-year rebuild. That’s what he said to me. He convinced me then to come be a part of it and build it with him. We’re not where we want to be. I don’t think it’s gonna take five years, I don’t want it to take five years, but those are the words he said to me.” I get that it takes time to build a team for sustainable success, but if he thinks he has 5 years regardless, he is just delusional. You have to show incremental progress and especially that you are capable of learning from your mistakes, getting better as a coach and developing your players. If he loses rhe locker room with college antics like DBO, Tepper will have no choice but to fire him.
  6. Jumping rope is great for footwork and cardio / conditioning.
  7. Exactly and got criticized for it. I think the new Tepper is trying to show restraint to act less impulsively. I truly think he will want to make sure Rhule gets the full 3 years.
  8. I don't see Tepper pulling the trigger until the end of the season.
  9. I think this is a critical year for CMC. He needs to prove that he can stay healthy and that can only be accomplished with a lighter load. He'll need to accept that he doesn't have to carry the team. Having a better offensive line will hopefully mean he can be utilized more effectively and use Chuba for 30 - 40% of the carries, especially short yardage situations.
  10. They reached out to the Panthers but were told he isn’t available per Adam Caplan
  11. The stiffest wide receiver i have ever seen. It was shocking how slow his release was and change of direction. His one good season was all because of Cam
  12. Maybe but the buck stops with him..
  13. His failure as a head coach is not just about the QB or offensive line. Look at the lack of player development across the last two draft classes. Even Jeremy Chinn seems to have regressed last year compared to his rookie year.
  14. Except he sucks at coaching them up at the NFL level. That's why I'm glad we have some NFL caliber assistants this year.
  15. Ben Bender is most effective in attacking wide position. He doesn’t seem as comfortable in the middle but still a better option than others
  16. Right now our weakest position, especially the holding midfielder position. We need to improve in our next transfer windows or we will have play direct to wingers and strikers most of the time
  17. Great signing, instant impact and the player really wants to be here
  18. First home game I have missed this year. Will be there on Saturday it is an amazing atmosphere, electric and you can see the team feeding off it. Fans are definitely the 12th man at BOA
  19. Last minute but if you can make it let me know. 3:30 pm kickoff today.
  20. I think Corrall is more fiery and competitive than Darnol. He also seems to embrace his role as a leader where Darnold just wants to be "one of the guys".
  21. Chris Simms has a really good track record when it comes to analyzing the QBs coming out of college. He thinks we got a steal getting Matt in the third round. Here's what he had to say before the draft. "Insane athlete, he's the quickest quarterback in the draft. There's nobody with quicker feet. Can make people miss, you know, great acceleration. Pop his feet to get back into throwing positions. Nobody can do that as good as Matt Corral, let alone, he's got the quickest release in the draft too. It's as quick of a release as I've seen coming out of college football in a few years actually. Then, we get into the arm strength. The arm strength is phenomenal. The ball absolutely flies out of Matt Corral's hand. To me, he's made for the modern-day NFL. Corral is the most accurate thrower in the draft too. He is. I don't know what his numbers are and I don't even really care. When he sees a target, he can put the ball on the money into the tightest windows out of anybody in this draft. He can do sidearm, he can do both feet off the ground and still throw the ball with great power. Now, the one thing is, he's got to put it al together. It's not all together there yet. I wish we did see a little more of, let's go through reads. There's some of that but a little bit like a Malik Willis or some of the other guys that we've talked about - a lot of the times it's just look at one guy and I'm going to run or take it away."
  22. Yes you COMPLETELY missed the point (pun intended ) Some players can play sooner than others, but only first rounders get a chance to prove it over and over. Mid to late rounders don’t
