  1. I think he's somewhere in between, he is a below average WR#1 because he doesn't dominate and barely scores touchdowns.
  2. Steve and Luke get the minimal credits, they can't be ignored completely, but you're delusional if you don't think they would have been put on much higher pedestal if they played in bigger markets
  3. topic is national media. DJ Moore is no dud but folks acting like we traded Tyreek Hill
  4. Cam Newton would have been beloved if he played for Cowboys Steve Smith would have been considered a top 5 WR of all time and a HOF if he played for the 49ers or Chiefs Luke Kuechly would be considered one of the best middle LBs of all time if he had played for Steelers or the Ravens DJ Moore was never even talked about until this trade, suddenly the Bears got themselves a top 5 WR. LOL There are exceptions to this, but of course, the pundits are mostly lazy and only research their talking points for the big market teams. The lack of intelligent analysis and insights are shocking. Panthers didn't get fleeced in the trade, if anything they came out slightly ahead in terms of value analysis. But all that anyone talks about is how smart their GM is, the same GM who traded a 2nd rounder for Chase Claypool, LMAO.
  5. Corral still has a chance to develop and is on a cheap rookie contract. Keep him on and see what haopens
  6. Doesn’t have to be Mahomes, I will take Burrow
  7. Exactly, in terms of value, that's like next year's third.
  8. Pick #1 and #9 are swaps. The additional compenssation is one 1st, two 2nds, and DJ
  9. But it's clear that Stroud and Young are the class of the draft, it would be very stupid to even consider Levis or Richardson. Those guys have value at pick #9, but you didn't just trade to the #1 spot to do that.
  10. Because they listen to the pundits who are biased toward big market teams like Chicago. This is a good trade for Chicago too IF Justin Fields develops into a true franchise QB and a competent passer (jury's still out). It'll also be interesting to see if DJ Moore can prove to be the WR1 that Fields needs to do that. For the Panthers, it's absolutely a great trade assuming that CJ Stroud or B. Young is our franchise QB for the next 10-15 years. Simple as that and totally worth it. I honestly thought we would have to give up two additional firsts and trading DJ instead is better because I'm not sure he has that value with his contract.
  11. I always knew / hoped we wouldn’t sign Carr so never got on that rollercoaster
  12. Higgins sticks out to me because Benglas can’t keep both him and Chase and Higgins wants to prove he is WR1. Why not Carolina? I would try to make a trade for him now because with him only a year away from FA, the asking price should be lower and you don’t have ti overbid in signing him in FA
  13. Tepper needs to stay away he doesn’t know anything about QBs
  14. Agent 89 approves https://twitter.com/stevesmithsr89/status/1634328488634204164?s=46&t=uRReWX1HTwFi0uSNkavY5w
  15. I'm going to love it if we trade for the #1 pick and watch this place implode. Do it Panthers!
  16. Panthers shouldn't do this because of the huge contract he'll demand.
  17. I think 49ers set the price two years ago but theirs was a late first. I think Panthers should stay put at two first, a second, and a third.
  18. I think this happens if they sign Derek Carr or another vet QB and draft a 'prospect' at #9 like Anthony Richardson.
  19. I think Tepper and Fitterer are even more impatient than us. It's happening this year, we're drafting a QB in the first round.
  20. He's a baller for sure. Size is the only thing that gives me pause due to higher potential of injury
