  1. Took it from my office. I know some of us don’t live in our mothers basement lol
  2. What’s the occasion? Is this just for an upcoming soccer match?
  3. Rhule hire (with the 7 year contract) and the Rock Hill disaster have made Tepper a laughing stock of the NFL. Hiring this coaching staff and letting them do their thing will either make or break him. This may be his last chance to repair his reputation among the rest of the league. The other thing, if he was smart, would be to put the grass field back at BoA and show that he cares about his players and not just the bottom line.
  4. I loved Zion coming out but he's proven to be too volatile, doesn't take care of his body and unprofessional.
  5. Latest Dalvin Cook odds for next team Team Odds Miami Dolphins +150 Denver Broncos +380 Buffalo Bills +800 Dallas Cowboys +1200
  6. Yes, start him in preseason and regular season. Nope you don't yank him once you make him the starter you have to commit. I'm not a fan of the instant gratification culture that's been built around QB development. You have to show some patience. Peyton Manning struggled his first year and more recently even Trevor Lawrence looked like he might bust and then broke through in his second year. Look at these stats for Trevor Lawrence. . Now I expect Bryce to put up better numbers because he's on a better team (more talent around him), and he has a much better coaching staff. Look what Trevor Lawrence did after they got him a little more talent and a real coaching staff with Doug Pedersen. Year Team CMP% YDS TD INT Rating 2022 Jaguars 66.3 4,113 25 8 95.2 2021 Jaguars 59.6 3,641 12 17 71.9
  7. Just saying - a coach being fired doesn't mean he's a bad coach. Sometimes it's just time to go to a better situation.
  8. Rodgers did not look good last season. He became a checkdown king and afraid to throw into tight windows. While his padded numbers still look decent, he actually had the worst year of his career since he took over for Brett Favre in 2007. He had career lows in yards per completion (10.6) and QBR (39.3). He's on a downward trajectory and I don't think he'll suddenly find his groove with the Jets.
  9. Any Reid and Doug Pedersen were also fired. Look at them now.
  10. https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/2023/06/07/panthers-offseason-jason-mccourty-frank-reich-bryce-young-jets-aaron-rodgers/ After 18 years with one franchise, a four-time Most Valuable Player, four-time First-team All-Pro, 10-time Pro Bowler, Super Bowl champion and future Hall of Fame quarterback was traded—and to “The Big Apple,” no less. So, that was undoubtedly the biggest move of the offseason, right? Not according to Jason McCourty, who believes that honor belongs to the Carolina Panthers. The former safety and current co-host of Good Morning Football was asked if Aaron Rodgers’ trade to the New York Jets will end up being the most impactful acquisition of the spring. While he does love himself some A-Rod, McCourty said the Panthers’ additions of head coach Frank Reich and quarterback Bryce Young will have a greater effect in the grander scheme of things. “I’m gonna say the Panthers getting Frank Reich and the first overall pick will be the biggest offseason move,” he stated. “You look at the Carolina Panthers a year ago—Matt Rhule’s the head coach. Matt Rhule is fired. Steve Wilks takes over. You remember Robbie Chosen, Robbie Anderson—he gets into a blowout on the sideline, he’s walking into the locker roomduring the game. “So the Panthers—with where they were last season to where they are now—getting a head coach in Frank Reich, now getting Bryce Young as their quarterback. This, to me, can be the offseason move of the future where you’re just like, ‘My goodness.’ You look at the Panthers over this past year, the trajectory that they’re on, where they’re going to be—this could’ve been the biggest move of the offseason. Them getting that first overall pick so early on and having a head coach to develop their next young quarterback.” And that, not so coincidentally, was Carolina’s plan all along. The hiring of Reich, a former quarterback and heralded offensive play caller, was partly inspired by the franchise’s recent woes under center. Plus, powering your way to the top of the draft board to pick any rookie passer you want is a pretty effective way to fix that position as well. So while Rodgers may make his presence felt more than any newcomer in 2023, it may be Reich and Young who run with the ball for years to come.
  11. Soccer players are impacted adversely too so let’s not throw them under the bus.
  12. Tepper literally agreed last year to change the field back to grass for one game vs Chelsea because top European soccer clubs refuse to let their players play on turf
  13. Soccer players don’t like turf either, so I’m not following your logic. Tepper made it clear the turf was so they can have concerts and not have to worry about the effect on the grass field
  14. Nice to see that Bills owner gets it while Tepper still prioritizes the bottom line over his players’ wellbeing Bills plan grass field for new stadium After half a century on artificial turf, the Bills are making plans to play on grass. The Bills had their groundbreaking ceremony at their new stadium on Monday, and afterward General Manager Brandon Beane said the stadium will have a grass field. “Another positive is it’s going to be grass,” Beane told Pat McAfee. “We have these debates of turf vs. grass, so that was one of the big things we pushed for. It’s going to be grass like Lambeau has, have all that coil underneath to keep the field warm. So, very excited about that.” Most NFL players prefer grass fields, and the players’ union has argued that all fields should be grass. Owners tend to prefer artificial turf for its versatility in bringing other events to stadiums. Beane said that unlike many of the modern stadiums that have been built with the idea of attracting concerts and other major events that are easier to stage on artificial surfaces, the new stadium in Buffalo is being built with football in mind. “It’s really going to be built football-based,” he said. The Bills’ current stadium has always used artificial turf, since it first opened in 1973. The new stadium with the grass field is expected to be ready for use in 2026.
