  1. Fitterer may fall on the sword but it's Tepper who instructed Fitterer to make the trade happen with the Bears even when Houston bailed.. The original trade was going to be three way where Houston would have had the 1st pick, and Panthers second.
  2. I've never been more OK with moving the team than now. Fug it
  3. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/bears-and-panthers-are-nfls-only-winless-teams-giving-chicago-hope-for-top-two-picks The NFL now has just two winless teams. The Bears own both their first-round draft picks. The Bears fell to 0-4 with yesterday’s loss to the Broncos, and the Panthers fell to 0-4 with yesterday’s loss to the Vikings. They’re the only 0-4 teams in the NFL. And the Bears have both their own first-round pick in the 2024 NFL draft and the Panthers’ pick, thanks to this year’s trade that allowed the Panthers to take Bryce Young first overall. It’s a long season and we don’t know if the Bears and Panthers will actually finish at the bottom of the standings when it’s all said and done, but at the moment the Bears would appear to have an excellent chance at owning the first overall pick, either by finishing with the worst record in the NFL or by the Panthers finishing with the worst record in the NFL. USC quarterback Caleb Williams is considered the big prize in next year’s draft. The Bears have to be considered the favorites to land him.
  4. 100% - but rookies are expected to make those mistakes, veterans are not See question #1. Not Bryce's fault but Tepper and the FO
  5. If you look at my post history I was a CJ Stroud guy, so miss me with being a Bryce fanboy or coddler. However, I think the kid can be a really good QB if he gets put into a better situation. I don't know if he will be great, or have the same ceiling as AR or Stroud, but I think we should lookin in the mirror and self reflect by asking ourselves a few questions: 1. Is it Bryce Young's fault that Panthers traded up to pick him at #1? Your anger should be directed at the FO not the rookie QB who is trying to develop in an extremely difficult situation. 2. If Bryce was 6'2" instead of 5'10" and had the same identical performances, would you feel the same away about his progress as a rookie QB? Be honest. You would probably give him a much longer leash but you're playing into the optics of him being small as the reason for not performing better. 3. If Ian Thomas catches the TD on the ball that hit him in the hands, or Bryce has even decent offensive line protection, Panthers win the game yesterday and Bryce wins with over 100 QB rating and Panthers are 1-3 instead of 0-4. Would you still be saying he's a bust? I'm just saying, 3 games into his career, this is a major overreaction. Trevor Lawrence was terrible most of his rookie year, but people didn't call him a bust because he's tall, Jaguars didn't trade up to get him, and he had a terrible coach. Bryce should at least get a chance to play out his rookie year and support him along the way.

    Wow.

I think the coaching is the dumpster fire, not the QB. Rookie QB - you have to at least let him play out the season and see if he's headed in the right direction. Unfortunately, too many are looking at Stroud and expecting the same from Bryce and it isn't fair in the broader historical context for QBs. Back to this topic - anyone remember in week 1 that Reich took the blame for one of the INTs and basically said that he told Bryce who to throw to on that play based on coverage? He's trying to play joystick QB and honestly I think it's going to hurt Bryce's development. He needs to be able to make all the reads on his own and make his own decisions.

    Wow.

    Looks like it
  8. Anyone else think this is a major problem? This makes Reich look like a complete idiot https://x.com/panthersculture/status/1708608978647716212?s=46
  9. Let’s be honest, most of us wanted Stroud at some point. He was my favorite so not surprised to see him doing well. While most of us acknowledged AR’s ceiling based on athletic potential, his college tape indicated he would take a few years to develop. Nobody saw this coming in year 1. I can’t stand Jim Irsay the person but damn he is a good owner
  10. So many people on here hated Chud. Cam would have been a HOF’er in his offense
  11. Cam was in a spread offense. After Chud left even he couldn’t match his own rookie passing numbers lol
  12. Let me ask you, do you think Stroud or AR would be able to show it in this offense?
  13. I don’t know how much is Bryce vs playcalling
  14. Just watched the replay, he looked disappointed but I didn’t see any tears. Some of you criticize him when he shows emotion and you criticize him when he doesn’t. We get it you hate Bryce Young
  15. I can’t stand people who move to Charlotte but go to games to support another team. You can just fug off back to where you came from
  16. Yep but guess what. If they played for the Panthers in this offense they would probably look worse than Bryce.
  17. As much as anyone wants to blame a rookie QB, this loss is on the offensive line. That’s what I took away from this game. I don’t know any other rookie QB who is constantly under pressure. Conservatives playcalling is a reflection of the poor OL play. We saw it in preseason and it’s even worse now due to injuries
  18. Can we just take shots downfield? I would rather have interceptions at this point than watch this anemic offenuse
  19. Falcons truly are a QB away on offense. Ridder is so terrible they’re not going anywhere with him
  20. I have a source who says that Morgan is the only dissenting voice in those rooms, not afraid to tell Tepper the truth. Unfortunately he is outnumbered and he won’t publicly rattle the cage but he should definitely replace Fitterer
  21. Our OL run blocking ranks 30th in the league. Miles is not the problem
