    People aren’t talking enough about it. He didn’t just play with a bad ankle. He literally carried the team yesterday to victory. It’s one of the great all-time performances by a quarterback in the Panthers uniform.

    I know it’s dumb to even dream about the playoffs at this time but here it is Playoff chances go from 27% to just 8% with a loss against the Falcons.

    Agreed need a proven commodity as a bridge QB and bring in one of these young guys to compete.

    I don’t know that he’s telling us anything if he’s emphasizing get the ball out within 2.7 seconds and turnovers that’s going to inherently cause play calling to be conservative. No I guess it’s possible that if he has Baker Mayfield or Josh Allen back there, it wouldn’t be so concerned about getting the ball out quickly.

    It’s a brilliant strategy that few teams have the courage to so. Imagine if we thought this way and drafted Lamar Jackson let sit behind Cam for a couple years. Coming out of 2017 there were already signs that Cam’s arm wasn’t the same.

    Anyone worth trading a low pick for? Trey Lance - he is young and needs reps. Looked good in preseason Justin Fields - showed flashes, maybe the QB whisperer can help him find himself as a passer
